Free Coffee and tea and higher level toiletries in the room would make sense for a 5 star hotel.

Big rooms, comfortable, amazing views, extremely nice staff. But I have to mention Andreia at the reception who went the extra mile as I lost my phone in the pool (unaccessible place) and managed to get it (surprisingly quick). Determined and very professional.

One of the robes was already not in condition at all. Lack of strong/central light in the room, ie. from the ceiling. Limited offer of gluten-/lactose free products at breakfast.

The staff were very accommodating and kind, and gave us a nice room with excellent view when I informed them it was for my partner’s birthday. The pool and sauna facilities were great, and the location is near beaches and many restaurants. Great location if you’re looking to relax.

QR code provision for getting info about menus (Spa etc) and associated vila gale app didn't work well for us, app seemed to be corrupted with adware/pop ups for us. Coffee expresso capsule complimentary one each on day one arrival was appreciated but day rate does not include any complimentary room tea of coffee beyond day one. 1 euro per capsule charge. Got this info when we asked not aware of it otherwise.

The temperature of the pools is too cold, we do not use them for this reason. I would have liked a kettle in the room to make tea.

The staff that works at this hotel is wonderful. Sofía and Joao are lovely, they did everything to make our breakfasts very pleasant and we had everything we needed. They took wonderful care of our little girl. Breakfast is very good and the service is perfect. The cleanliness of this hotel in every corner is unbeatable. Congratulations to the cleaning team because they do a very hard and excellent job. . We loved the facilities, the room and the bed was very confortable. The children's areas are very well maintained. The chocolates that leave you every day with a poem in the room are a beautiful detail. If you want to relax it is an ideal place.

The gym is a bit under equiped and the location next to the swimming pool makes it too hot. The light in the room could be better and more easy to operate centrally then individual switches in the power cords.

The only hotel I knowing that does not have any irons. So to iron a shirt (after business traveling) one has to use their paid laundry service
