The only thing I did not like was the mattress was hard. I think it could be made better with a good soft pillow topper for the mattress. I did hear noise from neighbors through the walls talking or walking around so I do think the walls are thin and there is that risk if neighbors are really noisy our loud but when I was there, it wasn’t too bad and everyone was likely in bed before 10 pm.

Excellent location, couldn’t be better especially if you plan on walking everywhere! Rui my host was delightful. There was a nice bottle of wine from the region on arrival and waters in the refrigerator. He and his wife did a nice job with the decor. It was super safe, very clean, and the kitchen was great with everything you need stocked to cook meals, full sized refrigerator and a freezer. Lovely bathroom and bedroom. A nice sunny courtyard with a little outdoor table and chairs. I had such a nice time. I walked to the National Palace of Sintra, all around the village, took the Hop-on Hop-off bus to attractions/ and castles. Plenty of different restaurants and cafe’s to easily access within just blocks. The train station is a short 5 - 7 minute walk. Plenty accessible for Uber’s if you choose not to take a bus somewhere. Right next to the beautiful Sintra Town Hall. Rui was available via WhatsApp for any questions and was super responsive. I recommend for a single person, a couple, or a couple with a child or baby as there is a crib set up in the bedroom. Nice and spacious apartment, no stairs!

Cute and well equipped apartment at the heart of Sintra, close to everything you need and it was really nice staying there. Rui was very nice and accommodating, we kept in touch on whatsapp during the stay, he was helpful with recommendations and gave us a set of reasonable house rules to follow. I would DEFINITELY stay here again if I'm ever in town.

Rui is an amazing, honest and fun host. He was very kind with us, satisfying every need (e.g. we asked for an iron and we got it, we asked for a late check-out and he agreed). Rui even brought us a local pastry. The accommodation is modern, clean, in a perfect location and with all the amenities one could possible require. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for low key luxury this is it! The apartments were located on a quiet street only a few steps away from shops and restaurants. The toilet paper was folded (much like what you would find at St Regis/ Ritz), shower heads turned away, welcome dessert & wine, tourist information provided (which really helped). Our host was amazing!! He was so friendly and allowed us free early check in (elderly + baby). What you get is a true reflection of what is provided in the photo!

Bed is a little snug for two persons

The location was perfect. Close to the train station and the 434 and 435 buses. An easy walk to old town, the Nacional Palace and the Regaleira. Quiet street no traffic beside the Town Hall. Rui the owner/manager was fantastic. Knowledgeable about the area and a joy just to chat with.

We were greeted by the apartment's modern charm and tasteful design. The fully-equipped kitchen, complete with an electric stove, dishwasher, and a comprehensive collection of cutlery, crockery, and utensils, made us feel right at home. We were able to easily explore the city's attractions, all while enjoying the comfort of a tranquil abode to return to. It was the best of both worlds! Such a nice place, how can I complain?

We like the design, the shining clean facilities, the space to relax, the convenient location, the large kitchen and bathroom, the nice bed and solid couch (experienced so many uncomfortable, too soft ones). Excellent place to relax after a day of struggle in the crowd and waiting in long lines. The kitchen pots, dishes, and silverware were clean like new, and so many available! There were even spice, oil and sugar! The whole apartment was so spotless, we felt that we had to be careful not to make a stain.

Really nothing I didnt like, I wished that in this one area that offered drying racks and some other amenities would have had a pay wash machine, but, it didnt. (hint hint for the owner...)

The apartment was very nice, comfortable and we thought the location was better than expected. It was so easy to walk up to the corner (so close) to catch an uber. It was nice and quiet when we stayed. Owner was friendly and accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean, the location is excellent (a short walk from the train station), the kitchen is fully stocked (with not just the kitchenware but everything you need for basic cooking, like oil, salt, pepper, and sugar). Rui, the host, is eager to make your stay enjoyable. We had a bottle of wine and some local pastry to greet us, and he responded instantly to all our communication. If you are a late riser, check with Rui before booking if the construction across the street is still going on (it did not bother us as the construction stops around 5pm, and we were always up before it began in the morning). Other than that, you can't go wrong with this place.

Rui,the host was totally amazing! He met me upon arrival and explained everything in the beautiful apartment. He also provided a bottle of wine, a delicious pastry, and a book of recommended restaurants, hikes, sights, etc. The apartment was perfect and beautifully decorated! Just a few minutes walk to downtown Sintra. Rui went above and beyond and his father’s Taverna next door was fabulous! Absolutely wonderful and hope to return next year! Highly recommend!
