The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the fact that it was in Albufeira! It was our first visit to Albufeira and will probably be our last, it just wasn't for us. Having said that once you were in the confines of the hotel you could have been anywhere it is so so tranquil, a real oasis from the hustle and bustle of Albufeira Old Town. I would say that Vila Origens is one of those destination hotels so may be we will back in spite of its location, it would be nice to think so.

This truly is an amazing hotel and far exceeded our expectations. I'm not really sure where to start or indeed ensure that I do the hotel justice. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, the bed was so comfortable and was enhanced by the quality of the bed linen. The bathroom was just perfect with a large walk in rain shower. The hotel is immaculate and is so tranquil. The outstanding breakfast which comprises of an extensive range of cold meats, cheeses, pastries and fruit is served at your table and taken on a covered terrace and comes with complimentary champagne. Every member of staff was so attentive, personable and extremely professional. It really was an absolute privilege to stay in Vila Origens.

Nothing! Our only disappointment was nothing to do with the hotel, but the rowdy tourists in the town. Coming back to the hotel was like returning to a haven of calm.

The hotel is like a jewel, an oasis of calm. The staff are attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were able to completely relax. The breakfast is a feast, the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, the facilities were top knotch. The massage was divine!

Nothing we can think of, everything was perfect.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The location is fantastic just a 2 minute walk to the beach and into the old town, yet behind those gates you could be anywhere, a tranquil oasis. The room was stylish, comfortable and all amenities we could need. Breakfast was on another level to any other hotel we have stayed at, Champagne every morning, well why not ? We never had to wait for a sunbed or cabana there was always something spare and the pool was so warm and just big enough to take a quick dip and swim or just stand around and relax in. But the highlight of the holiday were the staff, what a fantastic team, nothing was too much trouble, always with a big smile to greet you too. We feel like family now after just a week. Special call out to Rui, Ana, Vera and Paulo, who made such lovely meals and tended to our every need. Everything was so great, we have booked again for next year before we even left. Highly recommended, we may likely make this hotel our every year location, it is so good.

The property is placed at very central location. You can literally walk to the beach and old town. The property was beautiful and the staff were really nice and welcoming. We were able to enjoy both the hot tub and the pool. Breakfast was also very good.

Our room had a bad smell from the drains by the end of each day which was disappointing but we could usually flush the toilet through a few times and open the door to assist.

The property was beautiful and well kept. The staff couldn’t do enough to help, they were always on hand and friendly. The breakfast was excellent.

Vila Origens is an oasis. We found all staff without exception to be delightful. The breakfasts were superb and the proximity to some very good restaurants where we enjoyed dinner was good. Everything was perfect, we didn't want to leave and already looking for an excuse to go back and stay here again. The staff were amazing and friendly, especially Rui and Anna who was always ready to top us up with Moet at breakfast :) the rooms were super clean and comfy. The location is ideal and so central to the Old Town for restaurants and the nightlife however, it doesn't impact on the relaxing atmosphere around the pool area and you're not disturbed when sleeping at night. I'd recommend Vila Origens to anybody :)

Amazing old town locations. Beautiful hotel with stunning decor and art. Incredible staff, extremely attentive and passionate. Great breakfast with lots to choose from. We were here for our wedding with a number of wedding guests, each guess experience mirrored our own, all had very positive things to say. The staff were very accommodating, especially with allowing all the bridesmaids to get ready in the morning, this allowed the day to run smoothly.

Beautiful hotel! It felt like walking into a castle because they have this large wooden door that opens and reveals the property, and it’s absolutely beautiful inside. They accommodated my dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free) for breakfast. The rooms are very nice, along with the balconies, but the star of the show is pool area where breakfast is served. I also had a massage with Christina which was great.

The best with our stay in Portugal was for sure this hotel. We have stayed in many hotels and this stands out for their great hospitality. The staff were the nicest people I ever met. The breakfast at poolside the highlight of the day. The spa- treatments were fab. This hidden oasis has a great location - close to beach and restaurants. We will never forget the beauty of this place and the warm hearted people who care for it and for their guests.
