Unfortunately, there were a lot of ants, but they are probably trying to solve it. It is understandable that it does not go quickly, but there were ant traps. In any case, it is worth making sure that there is only food in the fridge or that everything is wrapped.

It was comfortable and cozy. They were cleaning everyday and it wasn't extra charge. The host was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. They were so attentive: on the first morning they realized that we didn't have washing up liquid (I forgot to buy), but they prepared one for us! It was lovely! They also had a heater which was nice on the colder days.

I highly appreciated the host waiting for us to check-in late as our flight was late. We had a nice bonus, a cat, that made our stay even more cosy !

Very bad wifi. Basically non existent as nothing loads. We didn’t contact the property about this so might have been only our experience. You can hear your neighbors as the apartments have very poor sound insulation.

Very nice staff and very friendly. Very well thought out apartments with everything you need We appreciated fresh towels and cleaning every day. It was a nice touch. The lovais perfect in a quiet street easy parking and just a walk from the city center. A lot of bars and shops all around. However Madeira is full of hils so you have to walk up hill to get from the city center to the apartment. But not a problem for us. We enjoyed it. Very good price!

There's nothing that we we're disappointed about the Vila Highly recommended!

It was a home away from home . It is cute, very clean and quiet. We called it home for 4 days. Helen was extremely kind and available to us when needed. If we ever visit Madeira again, we will definitely reserve our stay at Vilas Maria.

Mostly, we had problems with Wifi connection. There was no connection at all in some of the time. And the bed was quite hard for my back but it is just my subjective opinion.

We were amazed by the cleaning service we got in days of Mo-Fri. It was like hotel service - new towels everyday and everything as new as it was on first day here. Just best-quality ratio.

Be aware to bring something for mosquitos, they were really annoying.

Very spacious and quiet place. Not too close to the center but the localization is good. Beautiful view of the city from the nearby street. The apartment was very clean, had everything you need and the staff was super nice. We even experienced everyday visits by a cute furry supervisor although they demanded some pets from time to time ;)

We expected it to be a little bit easier to get into town. It is only a 20 minuet walk but there is a very big hill to climb on the way back to the Vila which was a bit difficult.

It was very clean, the facilities where great and the staff was very nice. Overall had a great stay!

Almost nothing could have been better. The bed was too soft for my liking.

The location is perfect, rooms are larger than we expected with full kitchen and a living room area. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and had somewhere to stay when our flight off the island was canceled. I highly recommend this vila and am looking forward to coming back!

Everything was perfect. It was quite the walk up the hill, so good shoes are essential.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the required items for a self-catering holiday. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was really lovely and quiet. The staff cleaned on Monday - Friday which was a real bonus. It was tucked away in a residential area up the hill with a fantastic bakery a short walk away, and within a walking distance of the Lido swimming area.

Our stay at Vilas Maria was truly amazing. Hosts are very helpful and nice. Everything is very clean (and they clean your studio every day except for the weekends), in the studio you can find anything you need. The studio was very nice and comfortable, the staff we met and the landlady were super friendly. Good cafés and restaurants are in walking distance and a bus stop just around the corner. We were very happy there and recommend Vilas Maria wholeheartedly.

There was a very steep incline to get to the Vilas by foot. I am in good health so it was okay for me but it wasn't something I say on the posting anywhere.

The Vilas were large with two twin beds, plenty of storage for clothes, a kitchenette and living area. Helena was nice to meet me at my time of arrival to show me the room. There was also a friendly neighborhood cat that greeted me every time I returned back to the Vilas. There was daily cleaning every day which was a great bonus.
