Nothing, everything was great. Just bear in mind that due to the geography and landscape of Madeira, you definitely need to rent a car if you're staying in this property/area.

Amazing villa, very spacious and clean, easily accommodates up to 6 people . Great views to the ocean, very comfortable beds. Great, cheap bakery 2-minutes drive from the property, Funchal is 18-minutes drive. Secure parking. Approachable, friendly hosts, provided advice and what to do during our stay, had complimentary fruits, pasta, eggs, cereals, wine and beer stored in the property. The pool had great views and if the weather was better, we would have enjoyed it even more! I strongly recommend this property!

Fantastic location! Great villa with all the things you need. The swimming pool and terrace is great, the hosts are very friendly and Gilberto gives a lot of good advice where to go. We had a fantastic time.

If you are looking for the perfect house to spend your time on Madeira - this house is definitely for you. Not only the villa itself was super clean and cosy, but also the hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful and supportive. They would navigate you in all worth-to-go places, would send you all the necessary Information to live on the island. Apart from that, the villa has a rooftop pool where you can swim with the ocean view and do some sunbathing. Overall: 10/10, we would definitely come back here.

Everything was perfect, the house is beautiful, well equipped, spacious, and cozy. The outside area is excellent. Upon arrival there was plenty of fresh Madeiran food in the kitchen. The hosts are helpful and friendly, they provided plenty of advice on what to visit in Madeira. Gilberto even took us out on a ride in a model 1938 Ford to a stunning viewpoint. We really liked the local store, bakery, and restaurants.

everything was perfect!!

the villa exceeded by far our expectations from the photos. Everything ws 100 % clean and very beautiful equiped. Our host also prepared some food for us for free. The pool and rooftop is amazing, that view can't be beaten. Gilberto is a very friendly and helpful guy and even took us on a trip with one of his oldtimers, thanks for that! Can just reccomend this villa!

The villa is very spacious, spotlessly clean and has all facilities a family would need. The hosts are extremely nice and friendly. A full load of local produces, including eggs, bread, pastries, jam, milk, juice, wine, etc., were provided free of charge on arrival. During our stay, the host kindly offered us a ride in his vintage car, and local chocolates for the kids at the end of our stay there. The outdoor heated pool was warm enough to use at the end of March. The kids swam everyday, so the washing machine and tumble dryer were very handy after swimming. The location of the villa is also convenient, just 20 seconds away from the main road, VR1, and it's roughly a 30-min drive away from the airport. The villa is surrounded by sea and mountain, so there's sea view at the front and mountain view at the back. It's quiet and peaceful during night. Even to me, who has back pain for years, the beds are comfy. And plenty of pillows to choose from. All in all, this is the best place we've stayed. Strongly recommended.

wer really loved our stay here . but what made it so perfect and special were our hosts Gilberto and gerthie. they are just the best hosts you can hope for. we felt very very welcome and they gave us so many things extra like fresh fruits wine . also they gave us so many advice on what to do, took us on a tour in their classic car and let us sleep in their cave at the seaside. All in all if you have the chance to come here don’t hesitate

Nothing It wouldn’t be great for someone who struggles with stairs. But if you struggle with stairs, Madeira may not be the best destination for you as it is very hilly with lots of steps.

Beautiful modern villa. The owners live nearby and were very helpful and easy to contact. They went “above and beyond”, for example delivering us fresh fruit, eggs, croissants and cakes. Gilberto even took us out in some of his vintage cars!
