Locatio great, very central. Lots of space in the apartment. Balcony lovely for enjoying the complimentary breakfast basket every morning. The lovely Joana was very helpful and friendly, she wanted to make sure we had everything we needed.

It was not easy to make lunch or dinner in the kitchen. There could have been a sharp knife to cut up the food we were were preparing to cook, like vegetables and meat (they only had table knives). There was not a tool to flip over meat or vegetables in the fry pan. There were no measuring cups. There was no place to hang towels, either it the main bathroom or the half bathroom.

The breakfast was satisfactory. I would have liked a little more variety. Joana was a delight and ever so helpful. Sofia was also helpful. These two women made our stay most comfortable. The cleanliness of the apartment was appreciated. We felt secure with how you got in and out of the building as well as our individual apartment. The apartment was artistically designed and appreciated.

Getting in for the first time can be somewhat tricky. The bathroom fittings etc are getting a little old and could do with a makeover. There are rubbish bins right outside the main door (obviously this isn't something the property can control).

Excellent location, walking distance to major attractions, close to shops, restaurants etc. Room spacious and airy, nicely decorated, you have everything you need, kitchenware included. Good WiFi. Breakfast was provided every morning. Would definitely choose again.

A beautifully appointed apartment with breakfast as a bonus, the artists house had everything we needed plus a small balcony overlooking restaurants and nightlife. Exceptionally quiet for a wonderful central location. Everything you needed, for a self equipped apartment.

Porto is a difficult city to visit, especially with a car. Parking is not provided here, resulting in a two-night stay’s garage charge of more than €105. It’s also disappointing to read there’s an elevator but learn that it begins one long flight of stairs up from the entrance.

The facilities are fine and the apt. itself beautifully appointed. I especially liked the stuccoed ceiling. The restaurant MAR AMacross the street is superb and inexpensive.

If your room is on the side of the street, the glass disposal is very loud when bars bring in the bottles at nights and the garbage people empty it very early in the morning. But it does not last long and with ear plugs there is no problem.

Wonderful location, friendly staff, beautiful room and a delicious breakfast brought daily outside the room in a basket. Just the sweetest thing ever.

Had a bit of trouble getting into the building via the key pad when we arrived but no problems getting into our apartment once inside. There was a key in the apartment so we only had to use the key pad on arrival. Not much hanging space for clothes.

Great location, comfortable bed, good shower, very clean, nicely decorated, shutters and aircon to keep it cool, and super-friendly staff with great communication and fabulous breakfast baskets left outside the door each morning

We loved everything! It was perfect!

Breakfast was amazing! Beautifully presented in a lovely picnic basket. Wonderful array of breakfast foods and fresh fruits and juice. Our hostess was wonderful and very helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful heritage apartment which was so nicely renovated and decorated. Sofia was so thoughtful and helpful with the parking dilemma. Our thanks to her and her wonderful employee. So helpful! We will miss this charming accommodation.

Host very attentive making sure everything went smoothly for our arrival. Joanna delivered our breakfast every morning and went to great lengths to ensure I had gluten free bread for breakfast. The location is excellent, between old town and Douro river. Everything on our doorstep. They are putting in a Metro station on the corner but it was really no big deal. Driver Francisco delivered us to the door and helped us upstairs with our bags. There is a lift just up a short flight of stairs. Had a really great stay.

Situated in the perfect location, easy walking distance to the main attractions. The apartment was excellent, very nice size, furnished well and very comfortable. Nice breakfast delivered to our door each morning with fresh bread, pastries, yogurt, coffee etc. Joanne the host was very knowledgeable and polite, a perfect way to stay our break.

Nothing- it was perfect. Highly recommend.

An amazing location in Porto- near several tourist sites and an easy walk from restaurants, shopping and the metro station. The property itself was in a beautiful old building with some pretty fantastic upgrades. The apartment was beautiful, with stairs to the top floor (where we stayed) but also a very modern elevator for the weary traveller. Joanna was so attentive for our daily needs, and we had a beautiful thoughtful breakfast basket each morning to start the day. As well, Sofia was fantastic about early check in. And was very responsive when we couldn’t figure out the after hours checkin code at 7am on a Sunday. (Thank you and we are so sorry for waking you so early!) All together it really was a fantastic stay. Excellent value.

Having to depart, we could have stayed longer. Next time perhaps.

Our room was superb, lots of space and super comfortable. Our landlord was very helpful and friendly. As for the location, i don't think it could be better. The artists house is centrally located in the old sector of town. The history, the narrow streets, the city sights, food and people all going about their business are all there at your doorstep, awaiting for you to explore and engage. Go forth, around every corner a venture unflolds.
