This hotel had only opened a few months before we arrived, but it was exceptionally well run. The rooms were immaculate, and the downstairs bar was a nice to place to grab a drink after a long day of exploring Porto. The staff were great, the breakfast included an additional menu you could order off of in addition to the traditional continental breakfast spread. The hotel has a rooftop bar as well that is a great place to take in the sunsets.

Wine and books is a newer hotel in an excellent location in Porto!! We booked an appointment in the spa and it was a lovely experience. The indoor pool was a bonus. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Roof top terrace stops service at 10pm (this was late May into June) so sunset was around 9pm Room balcony large but separated by see thru glass with slight frost affect So privacy was low if another couple were in next rooms

The shower is basically in the middle of the room - a little awkward as I was traveling with my adult daughter. (It ended up OK - we made good use of the hotel bars to allow each other some privacy.) Otherwise, this hotel is very very nice.

The breakfast is amazing! Includes both kitchen items as well as a very-well stocked buffet. Rooftop bar and lobby bar are also very nice places to be. Location is relatively convenient.

The only negative thing about our stay in Wine and Book Hotel, Porto was beyond hotel’s staff control. Friday night rave and dj party across the street was loud and went beyond all normal hours, till 4 am. Maybe, just maybe those rooms overlooking said street(s) should have better sound protection.

Hotel offered Uber trip and 10% discount for shopping at El Corte Ingles shopping mall. We have gladly accepted this and did some shopping in Porto and Lisbon.

The bath amenities are terrible. They offer solid shampoo, soap and lotion only. The shampoo made my scalp itchy, the soap left my skin dry and the lotion felt like I was waxing a surfboard. There was no drinking water available in the spa area.

The location was great and the rooftop bar had great views. The bartenders were excellent mixologists.

The hotel itself is gorgeous. All of the staff are extremely helpful and the bartenders in particular are exceptional! They make amazing drinks and they have great recommendations. Great location close to so many different attractions.

Breakfast was great. The hotel was centrally located with walking access to attractions, restaurants and trains. Great location. The staff was very helpful with great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. We loved the hotel and Porto. We are recommending the hotel to all our friends and family. Thank you.

A little misleading with the hotel’s description, neither the rooftop bar nor the restaurant was open. Breakfast buffet was wonderful but the staff and kitchen were not ready to handle when they got busy.

We loved staying at Wine&Books Hotel (except for the problem we had with a curtain).

Wine & Books is a gorgeous hotel in a perfect location for exploring Porto. We walked everywhere from the hotel through such interesting neighborhoods. It was my husband’s and my first trip to Portugal and Porto, and the front desk staff were fantastic — recommending sites to visit and one the best restaurants we have ever been to! We truly appreciated the incredibly helpful, delightful, and kind staff. Early in our stay, we had a problem with the drapes in our room; the staff immediately resolved the issue in the nicest and most generous way imaginable. Thanks especially to manager Soraia Ribero, who could not possibly have been more helpful and thoughtful. We were upgraded and treated so specially. The staff and Soraia, in particular, made our first trip to Porto so memorable and special. We shall never forget our trip to Porto and hope one day to return to Porto’s Wine & Books Hotel.

I didn't like the formality of the bar/lounge area (tables all lined up and chairs) It needs to look more comfortable and welcoming. Also no coffee machine in the bar in reception. Bar staff were lovely but I had to leave the table and go to the bar to get attention. Also I was disappointed that the roof terrace wasn't open. It was not made clear on the description of the hotel.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was only open for 8 months when I stayed so everything was pristine. I loved the decor.

Great hotel, modern and clean. Perfect location in the centre od Porto. Stuff is very helpful!. The biggest surprise for me was in the morning, they charged my plug in hybrid over the night without asking ! Bravo for such a friendly customer approach!

Really great hotel in the best location in Porto! The hotel is very nice and has great facilities, a really good breakfast that is included, good cocktails at the bar, a nice spa, and an amazing rooftop that will open soon. My favorite coffee shop in Porto (SO Coffee Roasters) is right behind the hotel, and there are many other great restaurants and places to go in walking distance (or short car or train ride). Everyone who works there was always very nice, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend!
