At first, I thought it was creepy not to have a window in the room, but I had the best sleep in a long time in this place. Margarita at the reception is a gem. I had a personal issue, and she helped me resolve it. Love the restaurant and breakfast (not included in room price). I think it was €7 and it was excellent.

We had a great and unique stay in the box. The box was very comfortable and as in the description. The staff was very friendly. My personal highlight were the self made + fresh crepes and pancakes at the breakfast.

Modern interior in a wood finish with en suite shower and w.c. And soft lighting. There are no windows, which is why it’s called Box Hotel. but with no sunlight in the morning, I slept solidly without waking up . Great restaurant and bar upstairs. And a good breakfast served the next morning. 24hr reception.

We stayed only for one night. The check in went well and we were given a welcome drink. Everything was clearly explained to us and they also offer some tips of what to see. The room has everything you need for a night sleep.

Funky hotel with great staff, great restaurant and a superb location. Room was cute and price was amazing! Great affordable option for a solo traveller.

Wow what a different/unique hotel experience. First, the front desk was so great. Stayed late to make sure that we were coming (we were delayed) and was making accommodations to make sure we were able to get in. Super cool layout of the hotel with intertwined ramps to the different floors. The room itself was great. Clean room, great shower. Soundproof walls, no windows, comfy beds -- a perfect night sleep. If you want a lot of amenities in your room, this aint it. If you want a different experience, reasonable price, and a great night sleep, this is your spot.

When I came into my room it was clear it had just been cleaned, as the bathroom floor was still very wet from mopping. However this was fine as I had just checked in to drop off my things and then left right away; when I came back it was dry.

It felt very relaxed and welcoming; I liked having a space to myself for a night and felt very comfortable there. Staff were friendly, the beer at check in was a nice bonus, and the concept is very cool. The restaurant was also lovely!

The only inconveninece is out of their control because is the construction in front. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Despite the originality of the rooms, it did feel a bit like sleeping in a wardrobe with the feeling of little fresh air. For a 2-3 day holiday is fine and fun, but longer than that I would personally wouldn't do it.

The box was cozy and everything was clean and tidy, the mattress was huge and has the perfect firmness. We experienced some minor technical issues with our Box, but the very attentive staff sorted them out by reassigning us to a fresh Box within ten minutes of contacting them. Couldn’t have done any better! The hotel is very close to the historical center with all its restaurants and bakeries, as well as the marvelous botanical garden of the university.
