Room had a stuffy smell and was a bit worn down, but value for money I guess. Biggest issue was someone blasting music at extreme levels in the middle of the night which made sleeping impossible. Sounded like an arabic rave in your room. Stayed for only one night so don’t know if this is a persistent problem.

Shower in room was luke warm at best. Also, the room cleaner didn't fully replenish soap twice during the week. TV picture was also grainy. Not major issues...but certainly sortdble.

Just a 10 - 15 minute from Souq Wahif Metro. Nice rooftop pool and decent breakfast. Staff were friendly.

Rooms need redecorating. Current paintwork is poor. Mattress was a little lumpy. When emptying the bath the water comes up in the shower, and there was an unpleasant smell. The room was very very cold and I had to adjust the thermostat myself several times. This was outside the room.

Although It it was a last minute booking - it was a bit overpriced- the room and decor and facilities didn't feel worth the price paid. Water was lukewarm.

I was able to book last minute with a few minutes notice when we go into town too early for our prior booking. They really saved us.

The smell in my room is like some burned-out plastic. Also, the fire-warning bell ranged sharply when someone on my floor is smoking, which threatened me a lot,

The place is quite close to the centre area, it only takes about 10 min walk to the city centre and 40 minutes by tube to DOH airport. I arrived early in the morning, although it is not possible to check in, the staff still helped me to store my bag so I can easily continue my day travel.

I liked that it is close to Souq Waqif. I was just for 24 hours in Qatar, so in this short amount of time, you can see enough, because it is it's central. I had a late flight and I could book a half day extra.

No floor towels provided in bathrooms and be forewarned that parking area is tight so pick-up/drop-off need to be quick. Traffic isn't too much around the area though so it's manageable without too much stress.

Staff across all areas were the best - we interacted with those manning the reception, security, luggage transfer, housekeeping, rooftop swimming pool and dining area who were all responsive, friendly and actively attended to our needs. Special appreciation goes to Samreen at the reception who changed our room from a windowless small one on 1st floor (felt claustrophobic) to a slightly bigger one on the 6th floor with a superb view - which made ALL the difference to our stay! The Shawarma meal on special offer is generous in portion and YUUUUM! :) Location is great too! In cooler weather, a few major sites of interest are within walking distance such as the National Museum of Qatar, the bay area, etc.
