“A really cozy and fresh house with modern apartments and a comfortable bed. The friendly owner speaks several languages. There is a separate entrance for guests. The noise from the road is almost inaudible. There is a barbecue area on the territory and in general the area is well-groomed and pleasant. There is a lot of greenery around.”
“Best location, very cosy room. The room was dark enough to sleep well. The sanitary ware was clean, hot water was always available in the required amount. They provide slippers, shower gel, shampoo. Also towels are available. It has kitchen with all the necessary cutlery, fridge and a washing machine. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends if they decide to visit Batumi.”
“Very friendly lady, with Google translate we had a nice conversation about her beautiful vegetable garden surrounding the house. The room was spotless clean. The bed comfortabel. The breakfast was delicious with a local specialty and homemade jam. We could watch netflix in the comfortabel sitting room. Nice view on the mountain. Good washing machine and place to dry clothes outside.
All in all perfect!”
“This was my favourite stay in all of Georgia. You are really made to feel welcome here as if you are a part of the family. The Khinkiladze family are exceptionally friendly, warm, generous hosts. The hostess, Fati, is an excellent cook and will treat you to amazing and copious homecooked meals (the best I've had in Georgia), consisting of many delicious dishes and way more than you can eat. Her husband is a park ranger of 40 years' experience (I found out through google he is actually the subject of a short documentary film, “40 Years Protecting Georgian Wildlife - "Guardian of Machakhela”) and will be able to advise you on the best walking routes in the area. If you’re lucky, you will get a lift in their Jeep too! Unesco-protected Machakhela park itself is stunning, even in bad weather, and perfect for hiking. The last 500 metres or so of road to the guesthouse was bad when I was visiting there (repair works are going on) and my Gotrip driver could not continue, but not to worry, the family will pick you up in their Jeep. Most of the communication went through Google translate, this turned out to work just fine. The room is basic but clean, with everything you need and a bathroom with a strong hot shower just outside. I highly, highly recommend staying here if you are a nature lover and you'd like a taste of the real Georgia, in this case, the real mountain Adjara. I am already planning to return here the next time I am in Georgia.”
