Very easy to get to on public transport or a 30 minute walk to harbour area using under sea tunnel. Right by cable car for Mireuksan.”

“I had a very pleasant time at this property in Tongyeong and its islands, especially due to the host, Jeroen. When I arrived, Jeroen invited me to join his Korean BBQ with a fellow traveler who was staying at his house. I also received great information about all the islands I could travel to by ferry. After two days, I noticed that my next booking was canceled, so I needed to extend my stay. Jeroen was very accommodating and made it easy for me to stay longer. The next day, we went out for lunch at his neighbor's, which was also really nice. The entire house is very clean and cozy, perfect for relaxing for a moment. The most pleasant thing for me about this property was that Jeroen has a strong Dutch background, which made me feel at home, since I am Dutch. If you are traveling to Korea, you should visit Tongyeong and definitely stay at Jeroen's house. You'll have the best experience :)”
“As the concept is meant to be a houseboat - this was interesting and being on the water was nice. You are able to take your dog - as long as it is small. The view and calmness very early in the morning were very pretty. There is a walking track right next to the boat, so you can go for long walks around the bay area, which is very pretty. The owner was very communicative and offered to bring clean towels during the stay. There are lots of restaurants and cafes to try and loud bars in the evening, if that is your thing.”
“Great guesthouse located right next to the harbor in Tongyeong. The Central Market, ferry terminal, and loads of great restaurants are all within quick walking distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the owner very easygoing.”

“Ton Ton is very friendly and I really felt like home. As there are not a lot of tourist information available online, he even helped me plan my trip around Geoje. Also his mother owns a restaurant, so it's convenient if you do not want to eat outside after a tiring day of travelling. Location is reasonably good around 10-15 minutes walk from a bus stop if you take bus 130 or 131 from Gohyeon bus terminal. As bus is quite infrequent on the island, sometimes you need to wait up till 30 minutes or an hour for buses. The host even fetched me to Gohyeon bus terminal in the morning during my stay.”
