“Easy to find as you enter the village. Parking on site. The building is relatively new and very clean. The welcome from Ileana and Petro was very warm (take your Google translate with you). The room was small but very clean, good shower, bathroom, etc. Make sure you book for breakfast and dinner! Wonderful fresh, local dishes. Vegans could have a problem here. Ileana is the cook and explains all the courses in rapid fire Romanian. Fortunately an English speaking Romanian family took us in hand and translated and explained everything for us - they were so warm and friendly, like most of the locals we met.”

“The location is absolutely perfect, a sort 50m stroll to the town square, filled with lovely bars and restaurants. Adrian very kindly allowed me to store my motorcycle within the secure compound, much appreciated. I was able to use the complex washing machine, which really helped this solo biker prepare for my onward travels. The apartment is fantastic, very chic, practical and comfortable, the bed was very big and comfortable, thanks for the extra pillows, it makes a difference. Overall, it was a beautiful apartment, a haven in the middle of the most welcoming city, Baia Mare. Thanks for a great 4 day stay.”
