It was cheaper than the other accomodations on booking and it definitely met my expectations. It is still not cheap if you compare it to normal Egyptian prices, but you won't find a much cheaper and better accomodation in Minya as a foreigner.”

“The view of the river from the top deck is very nice, particularly the sunrise. You may be lucky enough to get a room on the river side (and not the dock side). This appears to be one of the few places that non-Egyptians are "allowed" to stay in Minya.”
