“breakfast was ok, nice fruit. Location beautiful. Wish there had been a shower curtain as the bathroom got flooded. Helpful staff brought food to the chalets when it poured with rain. Dining room small and cosy.”
“This place looks amazing, you have beautiful tiny houses with an incredible view over the nyungwe forest. The staff was very kind and nice and helped us a lot with all our questions about the national park. Also the food was very nice, the spaghetti Bolognese we highly recommend and the African boulette we could’ve eaten ten of them! So we highly recommend and hope to come back!”
“Excellent property in close proximity to national park. Especially I would yo thank them for helping organising a chimpanzee trek when we arrived very late for next morning, something we could not arrange remotely upfront for some reason. So that place brings luck!”
“The location is fantastic, providing a panoramic vista over tea plantations and Nyungwe. The hut we stayed in, albeit basic, was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast options were a little limited but the dinner options are better (great chicken quesadillas!). Dieudonné was particularly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience. A highlight was the enchanting walk they guided us on through the hills and forest.”
“Great Staff, good food and a really stunning view while breakfast. The accomodation is very simple but extremely cosy. I would definetely come back again.”
“Beautiful place and very comfortable. We slept in à châtelet. It was cold in the morning but we did not freeze. If you're cold you can light a in the fireplace inside. The spaghetti bolognese was excellent, the manager is half Italian!”
“The scenery is absolutely amazing! The huts are super cozy and authentic! We really appreciated getting to know the people working there, they were super helpful and friendly. Great location to explore Nyungwe National Park!”
“Fastest and best functioning internet connection we’ve had so far in Rwanda. They recently acquired a starlink satellite. I had a video call for over an hour without any interruptions or distortions.”
