“Good place to stop for a night while traveling by car. Clean and quiet room with good sound isolation. Staff is very friendly, welcome and helpful. Breakfast is very tasty with a lot of options. We enjoyed our stay, thanks.”

  • Luisenburg Resort Review score: 10

“Great setting on a wooded hillside. Quiet, though when the performing arts arena is operating it might be noisy when the audience leaves. Nice restaurant and bar. The food was good. Breakfast was outstanding.”

  • Altstadthotel Molitor Review score: 10

“Amazing location, spacious, spotless rooms, very well equipped and decorated. Delicious breakfast. The best in this romantic hotel is the staff, especially Elena. She is kind, helpful, and friendly. She helped us with the parking of our car and overall made our stay a wonderful experience. So when you are in Bamberg, stay at Altstadhotel Molitor. You won't regret it!”

    “Excellent breakfast.”

  • Hotel Bayerischer Hof Review score: 10

“It's a really big and comfortable room. We weren't expecting that much. It has all the space needed for those traveling with more luggage. The bathroom isn't far behind either: it's really big and comfortable. The facilities are very well maintained. I classify it as a superior comfort hotel. The location is perfect for those arriving by train, as it is right next to the station. But they also have a parking space for those arriving by car. The breakfast maintains the hotel's high standard.”

    “Friendly staff”

  • “Nice rooms, good locations (walking distance from the old town). We were lucky with the weather and we got to enjoy a very nice breakfast sitting outside.”

  • Hotel Bruckertshof Review score: 8

“The main building was a gorgeous old place built in the 1700's but the rooms are all in a modern extension built in the 2000's. I liked the beer garden which was busy with locals as it was a holiday. The double glazed doors and electronic shutter blocked any noise from the beer garden, which really was quite a lovely gentle hum of conversation.”
