    “Charming house at the end of a 200 meter's driveway surrounded by beautiful scenery. The place is clean, quiet and very comfortable. Spacious and cozy room with a nice private bathroom. The common areas are tastefully decorated, well furnished and includes a functional kitchen. Nice filling breakfast. The heart of this place and what really makes it stand out is the hostess Olga. She cooks in the morning, keep the house spotless and create a homely and welcoming atmosphere. Secure gated parking. We could even get our motorcycles under a roof. There is 2.5 km to Salento - It's a beautiful walk. If you don't like longer walks it's easy to catch one of the jeeps that constantly transport tourists between Salento and El Bosque de Las Palmas 9 km up the valley. You just walk down to the street and wave one down. There is a couple of restaurants just up the street from the house if you don't feel like cooking.”

    “My stay at Combi saved my life (literally). The place itself is super cute has a lot of character to it and everyone who stayed there was super friendly and social. Morris and his team are the best hosts you could ask for. This hostel is small but in the best way - they are attentive and care for each of their guests like they’re family. When I was there I felt like I was at home. My bed was so comfy it was hard to stop sleeping!! 2 days into my stay I got in an accident and really badly injured my leg - I couldn’t walk for days. Morris and Steph took better care of me than my own family would. Morris is also a wonderful host and will provide all the recommendations you need, inside and outside of Salento. I loved birdwatching here with Morris there to identify all of them. They let me extend my stay for however long I needed and I am so appreciative and grateful for their help. Silvestre the cat is also an absolute cutie and I’m determined to take him home one day. I’m already looking forward to the day I return to Salento and see the wonderful people here again :)”

    “One of my favourite places I've stayed during my travels. I've arrived in a slightly bad mood but the warmth of people and coziness of the place quickly changed how I felt and I had a really nice time there. The hostel has an open view into the valley; you can easily walk everywhere, but enjoy the peace of nature. This place feels much more like someone's home than the hostel, and those are my favourite kind of places.”
