  • Finca Valentina Review score: 9

“Nice calm place. Comfortable beds. The possibilities of eat in different parts of the day (lunch, snacks, etc.)”

  • Huaka Hostal Review score: 10

“Max and everyone else there were honestly the nicest people and that particularly made our stay so special. Max really treated everyone like family without being overbearing at all, which I sometimes worry about when I read similar stuff in reviews. Just super helpful, nice and relaxed. Would have loved to stay a little longer actually, just the loveliest people and a great, homey vibe.”

  • “excellent food (breakfast and dinner) and wine - beautiful location”

  • Hostal Tierra de Vinos Review score: 10

  • Hotel Plaza Cafayate Review score: 9

“Very clean, very comfortable and big bed, great central location yet quiet.”

  • Hotel Del Dique Review score: 10

“This hotel is wonderful, the rooms are clean, the view is phenomenal, and the staff extremely friendly! It's surrounded by a wonderful nature, too.”

  • “This is the best hotel we have been to in Argentina, the place is just wonderful and the employees are very nice! The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, the hotel's architecture is stunning (it looks like a Spanish "masia" or a countryside house in Italy's Tuscany). When we arrived they gave us a room in the first floor and asked for a room in the floor above to have better views, they did all they could to change our room free of charge. They also offered a free wine-tasting, so we had the chance to try all of their wines with some cheese platters (white, red, rose, from the cheaper end to the very expensive end) with a professional sommelier. The hotel offers some activities (we did a horseback-riding excursion). In the evening the garden and the terrace are full of people enjoying some nice wine, the atmosphere is really magical. A lot of people ignore the area of Cafayate (and head to Mendoza instead), that is a big mistake, not only do I think that Cafayate wine is nicer but the area is beautiful. I strongly recommend staying here!”

  • Piattelli Wine Resort Review score: 10

“The property is charming, closer to many good wineries, and not too far from the City. We like everything they offer and plan to return sometime next year.”

  • “The gardens and surrounding area, with the birds and wildlife were so beautiful and wonderful to relax in. Breakfast was very good, a wide choice of freshly cooked options as well as cereals, sweet pastries and cakes, juices and a variety of teas and coffees, served in the beautiful dining room. Dinner was always delicious, with locally sourced produce and superb wine. The staff were extremely kind and very helpful in organising trips and transfers.”
