“Cheap for a private room, right next to beautiful tea plantation. Owner is really nice. He helped me book transport and even gave me a lift to the bus station. I rented a motorbike for a reasonable price (160k/day). Good, clean shower. There's also a kitchen you can use.”

“Very friendly staff. They really made you feel welcome and include you in their socialising. I had a very early morning bus to catch and they even came and checked on me to make sure I was up for it”

  • Mộc Châu Hobbiton Review score: 9

“A really, lovely and well designed property, and a bit quirky too. A really great change from most accommodation places in Vietnam. The rooms are modern, well equipped with soft, comfortable beds, goid WiFi, flat screen TV, air-conditioned and have their own private bathrooms....and great value for the direct price (don't use booking agents as they mark it up). The property's only downside is that they don't serve any food, and the rooms are without any fridge. The property contains several different types of accommodation (Hobbit style bungalows, rooms in castles, and small chalet cabins). The place also has great garden landscaping with a fish pond, a communal firepit section (with plenty of bench seats), a small pool with sun deck area, and many small places to sit all with tables and chairs. It is a really lovely place to spend time in and visually spectacular, especially at night when it is all lit up. I stayed in one of the rear chalets, which was very comfortable and spacious enough for me (although not huge, it is sufficient). My only problem is that above my room is scaffolding for their laundry, and when it is windy, these erections bang and can be heard in the room... a bit noisy, especially at night. The service is very friendly, with some English spoken. They even ley me use their fridge to store drinks in. They also did my laundry, but at a cost. Very highly recommended place to stay for all types of tourists, travellers and nationals (romantic, family friendly and pets are allowed....which is a real bonus for me). I will definitely be back again if all goes to plan.”
