    “Phil was an exceptional host! We had the best breakfast (huge variety and delicious)! Loch Vista is a very interesting place that caters to every type of traveler. He has a books to satisfy the bookworms, a pet sheep that's the cutest, an interesting collection of vehicles, and a cozy living room for chit chat. Not to mention, a wonderful patio and lake view! The stay at Phil's was so enjoyable it was extremely tough to leave. Would certainly be back in the Summer!”

    “The bed was very very comfortable in a large warm room. Kitchen facilities and comfortable lounge were lovely after a long drive. There was even breakfast provided that was unexpected and made the value even better. Car parking off the road was a good bonus too.”

    “What a fun experience! As an old Convent, the property has been kept as close to period as possible. Beautiful features, memorabilia and feel. Staff were more than amazing, we were greeted to freshly baked biscuits on arrival. As a group of 9 with a very packed schedule, it was a real treat to stay there and not just another hotel. I stayed in the rail carriage and it was a really immersed experience. It had a full sized bath, which I took full advantage of. The host cooked us breakfast at 5:30 as we had an early start, super accommodating and nothing was an issue.”
