We had the chance to book a room at Villa Diva, Budureasa, BH, on our way home from holiday, coming from CH Forum in Oradea. First thing we realise before even parking the car: this place does not give you the routine chain hotel vibe at all. We were received with a warm welcome by lady Diana, the owner and manager of the property. The building is gorgeous, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. Everything about this place is clean and has a fantastic old-time charm. The staff – people from the village - was the nicest staff we have ever encountered at a hotel. Discreet and quiet, but always friendly, they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They also were able to recommend locations to visit and traditional meal serving places as well.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable. So goes for the spa, the sauna, the pavement and the green. The food they serve is, well, what it looks on their site. Plus the taste!
Our conclusion: we would definitely send a friend there. Why? Because, as our host put it: “We’ll do everything we can for everybody to feel like home!”. And because they did.

“It is clean, cozy and it remains me of my childhood. We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff is really nice and they prepared us some dinner as we arrived late in the evening. The food is good and not expensive.”
“I really loved the facilities. You don't just get a room for the night. So much more. We could play billiard while we waited for our dinner, we could hang out in the garden on some hammocks, we enjoyed a spa with a hot tub and a sauna. There is a giant fireplace for campfires surrounded by swings and an outdoor kitchen for barbecues. The food was great value fort money, and the staff was very friendly. The guy who worked there was very attentive and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we need.
I stayed only a night with my wife, but I recommend this place also for larger get-togethers with friends and family.
