  • “The property was everything we were looking for, was spotlessly clean and in the perfect location. It was very comfortable and quiet. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive, and had thought of everything that people might require to have an enjoyable and stress-free stay.”

    “Quiet location, everything we needed,”

  • “We booked this last minute so were very pleased that it was readily available. Ross was informative, helpful (we needed extra bedding to change bed layout) and reasonable allowing us a later check out. The location, namely proximity to beach will always keep this house in favour. Lovely short stroll to beach with ramp access straight to sand & sea. Bathroom is downstairs but great to have separate bath and shower. Outside patio garden, safely enclosed and a nice sun trap for kids to play. We also managed to park directly outside the house throughout most of our stay too which was a bonus.”

  • “Alde Lodge was in immaculate condition when we walked in and the whole place had a modern feel. Kitchen was brilliant with everything we could need! Loved the place and the location. We wanted a quiet break and exactly what we needed to unwind 😊”

  • “Simply beautiful 😍. To the highest quality. Extremely clean and so comfy. Great location. Really lovely relaxing place. Amazing welcome box, everything you need.”

  • “The property is so attractive and beautifully decorated inside with lots of thoughtful touches and lovely pieces of furniture. It was perfectly clean, and Ian the owner was very helpful and on the end of a phone if we had any questions! It was also in a great location, just a road back from the Main Street in Aldeburgh.”

  • “A great place to stay! Highly recommended. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach (25 mins or so) but we liked that, as it was a bit of exercise! The two main bedrooms are a good size…the third has bunk beds (but we didn’t need to use that bedroom). There is a lovely small grocery shop just a few steps away, which was very handy (but be aware it is only open until 6pm most nights, and 1pm on Sundays). Other than that, there is not a lot in the immediate vicinity. But it’s possible to walk into Southwold.”

  • “Spacious Comfortable TV been added since last time we stayed👍🏻 Handy having pub below!”
