  “A wonderful place to stay, the hotel preserves the structure of the old post house with beautiful wooden planks, it is right next to a little stream, lots of birds, lush vegetation, pretty neighbourhood, spacious room and bathroom, very comfortable bed, very quiet at night. Restaurant serves excellent dinner, great local beer in the evening. Breakfast is delicious with fresh rolls, great selection of all kinds of cold cuts. Very friendly staff.”

  “We loved this place. The cabin was perfect for both of us. We were at cabin 4+ and it was well kept and managed. Checking in was smooth and staff and reception was waiting for us as we were arriving late at night around 8pm. We love the concept, the amenities and the hot water after our 100km cycling trip from Hamburg was out of this world. We used the washing machine and dryer provided, and it was free of charge. Netto and Lidl are just around the corner if you are looking for something other than organic stuffs serves at the cafe. We falling in love with this place. Next time we should try the hot tub and sauna.”

  “Room was bigger than expected. it was clean and bed was comfortable. Hotel provides a good Wifi connection. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant is also exceptional. If I need to go Hitzacker or nearby cities, I will definetely stay Hotel Hitzacker again.”

  “This excellent hotel is located along the main rood in Bergen an der Dumme. During night-time, very little noise. Very good room and breakfast. Excellent dinner and nice bar for drinks. We enjoyed a hiking trip in the village.”
