“Not a lot, it was not what we expected. Bed was comfy but the the restored workman's hut looked tired, the windows were filthy and smelled damp. No tea or coffee or welcome biscuits.”
“Breakfast was great with plenty of options. Close to the railway station and many restaurants. Nice historic building. Rooms on the front overlook the canal.”
“Very spacious and comfortable room with lovely outlook. Fabulous choice at breakfast and very helpful staff at reception. Great easy location to find and free parking. Lovely little landscaped park directly accessed from hotel so I could easily walk my dog in the morning in a lovely location. Inside the public spaces and rstaurant the decor was very nice too.”
“Parking was convenient, but paid 10 Euro per night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Breakfast selection was limited, but tasty. The staff offered good tea and coffee. The room was converted from 2 former prison cells, so the expectations were not high. But as an experiment it was interesting. For one night stay this hotel fits nicely.”
“Booked two rooms, both clean. Rooms were comfortable although a little dated. The rooms were through the main building, down steps, through a door and although one was on ground floor the other was up a steep flight of stairs. Staff were pleasant.”
“It is a place for people who want to rest from the city and enjoy the beautiful nature around. The chickens roaming the yard were really cute and added to our stay. The cottage was well stocked with essentials: coffee, tea, dishes, towels, hairdryer, small fridge, dish soap. Inside was also surprisingly a lot of space. An additional plus was a catalog with the most interesting points in the area and tips from the owners. It was very nice, and it was available in few languages. The cottage was very clean and warm. Each cottage has a small terrace where you can have breakfast. Breakfasts are brought to the cottages by the owners at the agreed time. Warm buns, eggs, and other good things. We could really eat our fill. Bikes are available for rent on-site, and you can take a ride to nearby towns along a beautiful path that runs along the lake. Only a street separates us from the lake. There is a place for a picnic or bonfire literally a minute from the cottages. Beautiful place and very nice owners! We highly recommend it!”
