How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. There was a ski camp staying at the same time as us so lots of noisy local kids late at night! Close to the centre of town but you need to drive (2 minutes) as the road isn't safe to walk along
Excellent family room, comfy beds, kettle and mini fridge. Dining area has a kettle and microwave but not cooking facilities. You can order from local restaurants and they can deliver to the hotel. Good location for the ski slope if you have hired a car (no local bus). Staff are helpful and if no one is in reception you can call or message them and they are very responsive.

There is no permanent reception so you need to call the lady of the hotel 10 minutes before arriving, otherwise you have to wait.

The Rooms were clean and big enough. The heat sometimes was turned at maximum and the radiator could not be turned off when needed. Also the water in the shower was kind of difficult to make it ok, it was too hot or too cold, never in between. Overall it was a good stay.

A little bit noisy in the morning because of the truck parking nearby but it wasn't quite an inconvenience because we were already awake
The room was as it was expected, clean, comfy, also I would say youth decorated. Suitable for one night stay (as we stayed) but also for a longer stay. The area has plenty to offer, the longest bob slope in Romania (for which we came there), also Borsec should be visited (there's also a bob slope there).

We rent the apartament and we have to pass one room to go the the bathroom and bother our friends. Pretty small everything. We could’t boils some eggs or cook nothing fast and easy but the have a place where to eat.The pension is just beside the Main Street and it s pretty noice.
The decoration was very nice with great minimalist taste

The apartment with 2 rooms had the bathroom in one of the rooms and in the morning there was no hot water.
The rooms were big and clean. The beds were comfortable.

The rooms are not soundproof at all, we could hear the next door guests talking, some children having fun in another room, which wasn't really pleasant when trying to rest. There are gaps under the doors, we could see the lights on the hallway.
Very clean rooms, comfortable beds.

- the bathroom for the apartment is located in one bedroom. so is difficult to use for the persons located in the other room. - the kitchen is not well equipped. is more a space to socialize and not to cook - the linen is not white.
Rooms and common space are nice decorated.

Friendly staff (that allowed us to check-in late although there is no 24/7 check-in service). Nice rooms with cozy furniture. Very clean. Also good location -- in close proximity to both Carpathian destinations: Borsec & Cheile Bicazului / Lacul Rosu. Highly recommended, especially for those traveling with families and looking for a great stop.

A little noisy on the main road but also very convenient.
Nice new hotel. Very clean and comfortable on a main road. double with bunk beds great for family of 4 with two kids. Not far to visit Borsec. Great drive through mountains.

We had a room on the first floor, next to the dinning room and we could hear all the noises from there. Try to ask for a room on the second floor if posibile to avoid the noises. unfortunately we crossed paths with a group that stayed until very late at night in the open area and they woke up very early and in our room you could hear everything that was happening there. there is no insulation on the interior doors at all.
The room was very clean, we had Tea and Coffee, nice room and good location.

Is noise because the property is on main road and some truck service near by and in the morning you have change to hear the noise of machine witch change types. Kitchen not well equipped and the barbecue the same. is not a place to stay with children also a lithe bit dangerous because the electricity transformer is near by children play ground.
Nothing special to mention here.

The heating was locked on hot, there were around 25-26 degrees in the room. We could only sleep with the window open which was towards the street. The shower was also locked on hot and the water was boiling hot. The mattress was uncomfortable as well. Luckly we stayed there for only one night.
