There wasn’t much to do in the neighborhood, which we knew. We wanted something close to the train station. There is a bus stop across the street and a metro station in the train station.

Everything was great. Even though it was on a busy street, the rooms of the hotel don’t face it and it was quiet. The room was nice and comfortable. Working AC. Shower was good. Room was spotless. It was close to the train station.

It's a great place where you feel home the moment you pass through the entrance door. It's clear that the person who rents the property likes what they are doing and takes good care of the place and the guests. That includes small things like snacks, bottled cold water, tee bags, coffee waiting for you upon arrival. Just the thing you need when you finally make it there after a long trip.

It is rare to find accommodation where everything, absolutely everything, exceeds one's expectations. Ambient is an absolute treasure: very large room, fantastically comfortable bed and pillows, perfect cleanliness and super helpful and cool hosts! The location is not so central, but very close to a bus and metro station. The bus and main train stations are just a few minutes' walk away, which is very convenient. There is a large supermarket nearby where you can find practically everything. The accommodation is in a backyard, so you don't hear the street traffic at all. It is very quiet, so you can sleep very well. I was extremely satisfied in Ambient and can recommend it to everyone!

Considering the value for money, nothing could be better.

Excellent, attentive and friendly hosts, Maria & Mario made us very welcome, we felt part of their family and were assured of a great 3 day stay. Two shopping centres, Metro, Garra De Nord, ATM, all within 5-10 min flat walk. Drinks, snacks available 24hr on honour system. Appealing courtyard for a quiet book read or drink in the sun. Large rooms, instant hot water. Want a taxi? no problem M&M will arrange for you. This hotel gets 6 stars out of 5. We will stay here again when next in Bucharest.

The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful. I continued traveling to Tulcea the next day and the location is at 3 min walking distance from the bus terminal, which was very convenient.

There isn't really something to complain about. Everything was ok and we enjoyed our stay for one night at Ambient.

Ambient was a very nice place, typical to Romania and it reminded me very much of my childhood. The hosts are extremely helpful and nice and they were always available, even during the night. They even offered to make breakfast even though it wasn't included. I would definitely book this accommodation again.

Of the minuses I can only mention: - Relatively hard mattress, may not suit everyone - We couldn't rent a bike in the hotel (because it was still out of season), but the owners offered alternatives In general, the minuses are only minor and not worth the reduction of the final evaluation.

Very nice room with a lot of cozy details. We picked the smallest room, but still had enough space. They have bigger rooms too. Amazing hosts that went way beyond what are expected to make sure we had everything we needed. Nice courtyard with tables and chairs. Convenient location close to the train station and with a supermarket just across the street. Definitely recommend this place.

Location was a plus for us as we needed to be close to the train station. We stayed one night only but the staff was very attentive, asked if we needed anything, served us coffee. Amenities in the room were great - tea, coffee, kettle, some sweets and still water were provided. The area is really quiet, perfect for a good night's rest.
