How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I couldn’t get my window (sky light) open nor could the young lady working there, so my room was very warm. I could not get the air conditioner to work well either.
The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, great shower and all very clean.

-The temperature in the room was 26.5 degrees even with no heating turned ON. I had to leave the window open most of -the time because I couldn't sleep. But leaving the window open has its disadvantages... -The food is too expensive, but there is a very nice restaurant at 5 minutes walk (same quality, but less money for it)
Clean and modern place, with tasty foods and nice SPA facilities.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Too many people from outside came to the pool and was way too busy.. selling glass bottle beers next to the inside and outside pool!?!?
Breakfast was okay.. they should change the menu a bit.. add some croissants?

It was very hot in the room. We slept with the window wide open,but we still had 25.5 degrees in the room. The mattress of the bed is not the most comfortable; the pillows are awful. Overall the room is a bit expensive for what they are offering.
The room is nice overall,the location of the hotel as well. We liked the breakfast and the rest of the food from the restaurant.

The chlorine level in the water pool was too high for my family. It caused a lot of coughing.
Very nice rooms and facilities, very cozy and clean, Netflix on TV, amazing breakfast. The bistro has some nice signature dishes.

The breakfast is good but with little more attention can be converted in amazing one. ( the buffet is poor too in Romanian Bucovina Traditional dishes and coffees are tiny always). The Bistro as well, has very limited options and not oriented to Bucovina specific meals.

No possibility to order roomservice from the restaurant to the room.
Good spa with warm water in the pool. Nice owner, allowed 1 hour later check out and the baby crib was for free. Very cosy atmosphere.

When I check in the room I did go in the bathroom and on the floor was many hairs and all the stay the housekeeping didn’t hover the floor in the bathroom but in rest was good for this department,1 day before to check out someone did come inside in our room and later I found she was a lady from other room and was a guest like us and me and my husband we felt weird because her key was working on our room when a key need to work just for that room what you book and not other, this was really strange

Outside pool is quite small and unfortunately the SPA is opened to outsiders (for a small fee), so it tends to be quite busy (with jumping kids). No green space in the facility (fair it is close to park and forest) - there is a lot of built space (parking, tennis court, football court etc), no garden at all Our bedroom (top floor) had no opening window
Lovely location close to the river and a forest. we booked an apartment (for a family of 4) - large enough and extremely comfortable. They even offered bathrobes for our kids, which was absolutely lovely! Really good breakfast, with friendly staff changing and refilling the food Heated outside pool, 3 types of saunas, sauna with window (which I haven't seen before) Restaurant was amazing - all the food we ordered was delicious, outstanding, surprising, different
