I have stayed here before. It is in a perfect location at the heart pf the city and exudes both a period charm and an air of peaceful tranquilty. The rooms are lovely, if a tad small, mine came with a balcony. Breakfast is good and there is a superb restaurant

The hotel is undergoing a renovation with modern, contemporary style. But not all the rooms are finished yet. Our room was one of those. The shower was leaking, which was really disturbing during night. The furniture was a bit shabby. The bed was creaking.

The location is perfect, the staff is helpful, the breakfast is full of choice and tastes delicious. Parking is free and the access is easy. The hotel has a lovely romantic atmosphere.

Good parking facilities, easy access to the hotel. Polite staff at reception. Nice spacious comfortable clean room with a nice sized balcony. Breakfast was average and was included in the room rate. The hotel and surrounding town was spotless,very clean and charming.

I would like a better pillow that is more thicker and softer. It is probably the most important thing when you sleep in different bed than your own at home.

Traces of mold in the bathroom/shower. Dust on the furniture. Breakfast not so varied.

The lift is small, and the breakfast was always the same. Some renovation happened during the days, which might be disturbing depending where your room was.

Location is perfect, the gated parking is practical. The price/value ratio is great.

The breakfast could provide better alternatives.

The hotel kept the time stamp and the personnel helped us every time. Even is a bit small, the rooms were warm and cosy.

The room was so small that it actually completely blocked the access to the fridge with its bed. So if you wanted to get in the mini fridge you had to move away the bed. Very weird situation. Also many little defects that you normally would see in a low budget hotel.

Decor is dated. Great they are working on refurbishment.

Location of this hotel is great, next to a theater in the city center. Breakfast was nice as well. The restaurant is exceptional, great selection of local wines and dishes made of fresh seafood (if someone likes it that is, i do :)

The noise from the workers who decided that the perfect timing to refurbish the room next door was exactly when we were about to sleep. I had to be firm with the hotel staff, who were initially reluctant to concede I was in the right! Also, the breakfast lacked variety - pretty much the same every day. Boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, omelette... I missed them all.

The breakfast was passable, not a wide choice.

The room was fine and the staff helpful. It is well situated as far as walking round the city and seeing the sights.

The maintenance of the room could be much better (dented furniture, shower partially blocked by rust, curtain loose...) I found the design of the room tasteless.

Old style hotel, excellent location, nice comfortable room, very hard bed (good or bad?), good breakfast.

The receptionist had limited English and so was unable to help with directions. It was a pity the hotel did not have maps for guests especially as the tourist information center was closed.
