We had a top floor room with great views. As our flight didn't arrive until midnight it was great to have someone on reception throughout the night. It was very peaceful and comfortable. Good breakfast with the option of an outdoor seating area.

One aspect that may seem unappealing to others is that the aesthetic is generally outdated. For example, the furniture in the rooms is in a 70 style, there are a lot of wood panels etc. For us, it was not a problem, because we appreciate the historical value of this design.

The hotel is located on a hill, and almost every room offers a nice panorama of the city. An uber ride to the historic center is about 4 euros. The room was cozy and warm. The hotel has a pool (which the guests can use for free) and a parking. The personnel was polite and the breakfast was nice enough.

Had a small issue with a socket. Didn't matter much, I used another and informed the front desk for them to solve it.

A reasonable place at a reasonable price. Not extravagant, but useful. Has an older feeling, with remnants from the communist era, which gives it a a certain aura. Not bristling with modern gimicks, and that's a positive. Fantastic view over the city, all around. Quiet and peaceful. Unlike many hotels in the city centre, Belvedere has it's own, large parking lot. Extremly important when travelling by car. Can't say more about other amenities because I hadn't used them.

Bed and soda were quite uncomfortable and there were no drinks /coffee in the apartment. Limited breakfast.

For the price range, I can't think of any thing I did not enjoy. Maybe the carpets on the room's floor can be changed to new ones.

The room view was superb, and the breakfast was more than plentiful for what it had to offer. I absolutely loved the included access to the gym and spa.

The view is incredible. A very good place to enjoy the whole city view! You can have the best vantage point to see fireworks!

Little problems with the elevators and perhaps the restaurant could us a little more modern atmosphere. Also, unfortunately the fridge was not able to keep wine cold since it does not work properly. However, please don't register this review as a complaint since we enjoyed our stay very much.

The surrondings look that they were bombed, a real adventure to climb up the hotel in the evening. Breakfsat should be uprgraded, it is not bad, but is not great.

Back to the comunist era. The hotel was probably great in the 80'-90' but remains the same in 2023. Good swimming pool and sauna. Nice view from the 7th floor. The rooms are OK.

I missed glass or a mag in the room. There were 2 plastic glasses instead. Also missed tea/coffee/sugar.

Too many outside hotel guests monopolized the dry sauna, the smell of toilet in the first elevator and on the 7th floor.

Staff ok but not very engaged. Minimal motivation and support.

Nice hotel, socialist style with still all the original furniture. Very clean and great view from the balcony. Gym and big swimming area are great. Swimming was not crowded at all. You get access to the separate facilities within the hotel building. Great parking in front of the hotel.

The 1st and 2nd floor of the hotel have apparently been converted into a dorm for students of the local University (happened the weekend before we visited). This should be made clear on the hotels site on booking.com. Some students had a party during the night - but we were on the 5th floor with earplugs and we therefore weren't too bothered by it. Overall we had a good stay.

Only one small thing, most of the tv channels weren't working, even tho they had quite a long list. Luckily I managed to find one music channel, for background noise .

Great location, lovely view of the city and quiet. Well equipped gym and swimming pool, for those who wish to exercise whilst enjoying their stay.

Room was very small Gym was very hard to get to I asked about pancakes for breakfast, they told me they had them but when I went down in the morning to get them, they said they didn't start serving those until noon, which I thought was weird.

Great view of the city Friendly staff and very helpful I came alone but I know my wife would have loved it. Facilities, at least the gym, was ok
