The location was perfect. 10 min walk from city centre. The staff were absolutely fantastic. The ladies at reception in particular, were very welcoming and attentive and positive, always smiling and were there 24/7 to help with whatever we needed. The spa facilities were lovely and relaxing and the room was spotless! The food at the restaurant was super good, well prepared and reasonably priced and the waiters were so kind and quick with the service. We had such a good time at the hotel and wanted to thank the staff for making us so welcome during our stay!

No towels at the pool

Rooms are clean & spacious Staff is always ready to help and very polite Food is very tasty in them restaurant and not pricey. We tried few other restaurants in Medias and definetely Mercure’s one is the best in town. Breakfast is variated

1. The location is far from the Center and the fact that the streets of the town are very winding makes it all worse :) 2. At the restaurant, the Wi-Fi did not work... it connected several times, but without internet. 3. The prices at the restaurant were a little too high, and the variety, not enough. 4. At the pool, there were always children jumping in the water, without washing their feet first. THERE WAS NO SPECIAL WATER, FOR FEET-WASHING. 5. Also, many girls were their hair untightened. This is not normal... The staff should have made the guests follow the pool rules! 6. At the shower, in the room, the water pressure was too low, i could hardly wash myself... 7. The door handle at the toilet door, in our room, was broken. We barely could close the door, without the handle falling off. THIS IS NOT OK. 8. when leaving the room, it was impossible to close the door, without making a lot of noise. The same problem was at the other rooms: the neighbors were slamming the doors at 3 am! 9. Not much to do around here... we can't stay at the pool all day, can we? :)

1. The room was spacious, we loved it! The wi-fi in the room was good. the room had everything that we needed: slippers, robes, hair dryer, tea and instant coffee, mini-fridge, a second table, laptop table and so on. we loved the curtains, that were able to make it all dark, when we wanted ;) the bad was king size... but made of 2 united beds :) however, the pillows were too thick :) it was quite hard to sleep on them:) 2. The pool water was clean, and the showers at the pool had hot water, with good pressure. The pool is 26,5 meters long, and 8,5 meters wide; it is excellent that it is 1,5 m deep all-over; and the water is warm and pleasant. 3. Breakfast was fabulous; enough variety for everyone, including vegetarians. Perhaps, some smoked salmon would have been great, at least once in 3 days ... this is a 4 star hotel, afterall... The restaurant is nice and spacious. 4. lots of parking slots available; we were able to see our car, through our room's window. we shall return again, that is for sure...

The pool wasn't quite clean, the chairs from the sauna area didn't worked and also one of the sauna wasn't working.

Friendly staff. Exquisite clean rooms modern furnished. Breakfast with variety of choices. Large terrace available for smoking exit restaurant. Nice pool area. City center at walking distance. Great value for the money, definitely we'll come back. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful surroundings.

It’s located far from city center, 25 min walk so you depend on the car. Also, the common spaces were not heated during December, only the rooms. We felt cold at the restaurant. The first day, we had continental breakfast with everything at choice (even vegan options), but the second day it became a la carte and you had to choose from 3 types of eggs only. The pool is heated only at 29 degrees Celsius. It felt like they were saving food and energy etc.

I liked that the room temperature was high and that it had a pool and sauna.

Sauna and pool area can be improved. Great pool but the location is not well maintained (little bit dirty and not so tidy, 2 out of 3 saunas available, broken wood pieces in saunas).

Would be nice to have more than 1 pillow/person. The location is about 15-20 min walking from the city center, so it is not very close.

Amazing breakfast and amazing staff. Very polite and friendly. The facilities are amazing. There is a big pool and 3 saunas. There is a big parking so this is not a problem.

the staff was amazing. I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel in Romania where the people were so welcoming. even if we didn't travel with our dog, the hotel is pet friendly. the design of the room is beautiful and useful.
