Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaNothing that I can think of ... the advertised swimming pool is too small for my taste (I like large pools so I can do laps). This one is small in the underground. But the great thing is that it is kind of private... you have to book it (reserve it) to use it, so in the end I think this is still a plus.
I like the most about this hotel the size of the apartments and quality of the rooms. You have a large bedroom and a generous living room with fully equipped kitchenette (exceptional for families with kids). TV available in both living and bedroom (great for families with kids). You also have large balcony with superb view. Everything is very well maintained even after more than 6 years (I stayed here before). Location of the hotel is perfect, very quiet area, good for starting hiking trips on trails around Peles Castle. Also the in house restaurant is very good - with an excellent breakfast buffet and a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Another nice plus are the available parking spaces.

IsraelWe were alone in hotel, so it was very strange. We had some problems with understanding with reception girl (her English was not very good). Spa was only for us, but wet sauna (there is no dry sauna) was not hot until our time was ended. It is only place that kids complained on beds comfort.
Breakfast was good. Because of location, you can save money on parking if you go visit Peles castle. Pool was great for children and adults after long day.

RomaniaThe pool is like a big bathtub, not a pool. Moreover, there ia nowhere written that you need to book gour entrance at it; since it is so small, only one room at a time can enter; it is like 70cm deep and 6m long. The spa means one steam sauna. So, paying for these facility is not worthy at all. We have chosen the hotel for the pool; we just got tricked. The breakfast was more than dissapointing: we have been on 3rd of January; considering the “freshness” of the breakfast, it probably was since New Years Eve. Expectations were hogh due to previous reviews.

CanadaGreat place to stay in Sinaia! You will wake up feeling like you're in the middle of the mountains, and the service was wonderful. The staff are really nice, and breakfast was also great. Definitely recommend upgrading to a bigger category with views of the mountains!

RomaniaVery good breakfast, coffee, home made cookies. Living with kitchenette that has everything you need (even an espresso machine), large bedroom and generous bathroom with hairdryer. Excellent for families with children. Very kind personnel. A big advantage is their restaurant from where you can order lunch or dinner in your room. The food is very good and there is variety for all tastes.

Romaniaamazing location, super friendly staff - rooms were clean, good isolated, bravo for the spa program, they give you sessions / room of the hole spa (pool, sauna) , so for 45 min you have the hole place for yourself, kids were super happy. The kitchen is small but it tops all restaurants in Sinaia, breakfast is delicious

RomaniaThere wasn't an air conditioner in the room. The pool was quite small, and you have to sign up at the front desk for a time to go into the pool. I'm not certain if that was a carryover from Covid rules or a normal policy.
Our stay in the Belvedere was really nice. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was huge, and the restaurant served a good breakfast and provided great room service meals. Parking was convenient. The staff are quite friendly and willing to give directions or recommendations.

RomaniaPersonally, I appreciate when a bottle of water is offered on the house. There is a minibar though, but the water is more expensive than the juice…
Everything was great, from the service to the comfortable rooms and the lovely mountain view. We have enjoyed the pool and the sauna, prior reservation is needed but you get the space for yourself. Very welcoming staff and spacious rooms.

RomaniaA little too far from the center. With no car you have to walk a lot on a street full of cars and nothing else. It is difficult to be happy with no Air Condition on a hot summer day . It was a unbelievable surprise for a 4* hotel.
A nice hotel with forest around it. A very good breakfast. We stayed for one night ( Sat to Sunday) and feel fine . It was quiet as we expect to be .Nice people at the Reception and at the Restaurant. Good conditions.
