Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CyprusThe reception staff was very dissapointing on both 2.12.2022 and 4.12.2022. As you enter they ask for money, if you check in 2 h earlier ( which I agreed), they gave me standard room even though i paid for superior. Also the man at the reception told me one price for early check in and at the check out the man who was on shift charged me more. When I told him his colleague told me another price he said he doesnt care and he ll charge me more. It is a pitty that such a nice hotel does not have professional reception staff and they give you the impression that you are just there to pay and nothing more.
The hotel is nice and clean, very cozy and good location.

RomaniaThe carpet in the room with many spots. Old furniture (even if made from wood). Smell of cigarettes, even if it was a non-smoker room. No facial tissues in the bath. In the reservation from booking I was told that the breakfast was 60 ron but arriving at the hotel it became 70 ron. Too expensive for a breakfast, anyway.
The location. The comfort of the bed. The laundry and the towels very clean and white. The fact that the hotel reserved, upon my request, a place in its parking (very helpful).

United StatesCommunication. We got there very early in the morning and I've been told not to worry because they have 24 hrs front desk. We almost missed breakfast which ended at 10am. The younger staff was very friendly and understanding however there was an older gentleman who was very rude with us. Later he probably realized that he wasn't very customer oriented but it was enough to ruin the moment after a very long day. Now, I thought the breakfast was included but I might've made a mistake during reservation. Breakfast was perfect.
