Everything was superlative. Accommodation in the citadel area of ​​Alba Iulia that combines old and modern design. Very varied breakfast. Free parking available on site. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend a stay at Carolina Heritage Hotel!

I may be subjective, but it is by far the best 3* hotel I stayed at! It could easily get 4 stars with a little investment. Really really liked it. In Romania I go for 4stars normally, because I have more chances for decent staying, but this place is a gem!

It was a pleasant surprise for a 3 stars! The reception made our late checkin very easy, with step by step instructions, even if we booked late in the day. They were quite pleasant to talk to, and very accommodating. Breakfast had various choices. The mattress was very comfortable. Same for the pillows. Good bedding and sheets. It has toiletries, robe, and a minibar which satisfied the needs for our short stay, and not common in other 3 stars hotels. I liked that it has private parking with code access, surveillance cameras, and has elevator. The location is right in the heart of the fortress! Really awesome!

We had a lovely one night stay here, the location is wonderful right in the centre of the citadel and was very easy to get to and park. The lady at reception was absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. Our room was great, very big with a comfortable bed with bathrobes and slippers provided. There was also a well stocked reasonably priced mini bar. We had a lovely bath in the room too. The hotel was very clean everywhere and breakfast was very good. We especially appreciated the same lady from reception explaining the Romanian dishes. Would definitely stay here again

The styling of the interiors would need a refresh. Bathroom had a bit of a smell, probably from the plumbing.

When booking a double room, people cannot know which room they are booking. It would also be great to have a light at the entrance of the room.

The location is just great, right across from the Orthodox Cathedral and the National Museum. The breakfast was varied and good. The parking on site was also good.

We were in a bit of trouble because the hotel does not accept pets (we have a dog) even for a supplementary fee. This time we chose what was best in the context of my temporary mobility issue. But although we really enjoyed the stay at this hotel, at our next trip to Alba Iulia, with no mobility issue to consider, we might, regretfully, chose a different location that would allow us to bring the dog with us, in spite of most probably less nice accommodation conditions and further from our target (the University). Practically, this is the only reason I gave a 9 to this property instead of a 10 it deservers from every other perspective.

Almost everything! Excellent location, spacious rooms and bathrooms, clean, quiet, rich and very good breakfast, very kind staff. Being in recovery after a fractured ankle it helped a lot that the hotel had an elevator.

The hotel is located in the middle of old town of Alba Lulia. It has its own parking behind the gate. The area is amazing and perfect for an evening walk after a long road, few nice restaurants available nearby and a lot of ancient - Roman time history arround. Good breakfast and well equiped, comfy room.

The room for 3 people was small, and we didn’t receive the third bath robe and pair of slippers as default in the room. We had to ask for them. The reservation was done from the beginning for 3 adults.

The hotel was in the centre of the town, so we had to walk to get to the town, and not use the car. The breakfast was excellent and plenty of things to choose from.
