Ants might be an issue. I didn't mind them much.

The room was in medieval style, matching the location. Clean.

Although we liked our stay there are a few things that would need to be changed to get a better rating. The taps in the bathrooms and the shower cabin in the attic room needs to be changed as they have rust and broken pieces. The bed mattress is also warn down, too soft and you can feel the springs. Some of the wall plugs are just hanging, this is actually dangerous. The wooden floor is noisy, but that is part of the atmosphere.

Great location, nice staff, interesting old style building. The suite and the attic room is spacious.

The hotel is a beautiful old medieval building in the heart of Sighisoara. The location is amazing and staying in such an authentic building felt like it added to the experience of visiting this amazing old town.

Communication with the host was difficult and there was a misunderstanding so that we could not stay there the first night, but had to find another place in the last minute. We didnt find the kitchen which other reviews have mentioned that you could make coffee.

The suite was very nice and cozy. Location excellent.

It is an ancient house turned into a guesthouse, so you get the right atmosphere of Sighișoara... (don't worry, the bathroom is modern) It is a special experience indeed! Location is perfect.

The bathroom’s shower tub was cracked and leaking. The air conditioner drainage tube was placed in a vase and the water had to be manually emptied out every hour or so.

Placed in a great spot, very close to most tourist attractions and restaurants as well. The accommodation itself was very comfortable, everything was very neatly placed and handy.

The front door lock was fiddly and took a certain technique to get right. Added to the rustic, old-world charm to be honest though. More of a note: the place doesn't have a reception and key must be collected from the bar across the road.

Incredibly atmospheric room in a historical building. The creaking floorboards, the wooden beams, the solid oak furniture, even the oversized iron keys made it feel like stepping into an 18th century hunting lodge. And all this directly in the centre of the Sighisoara historical centre.

the bath cabin had a major leakage and had to soak up the water somehow, which was very hard and stressful.

i loved everything. the place was aesthetically pleasing and i koved every inch of the room and the bathroom. the halls and the little terrace was lovely as well. it was around 3 minutes away from the main tower.

Well, our second night we run out of hot water and heating. I don't know why, they just did not work, was 11PM, noting we can do, so we used the air conditioner to heat up the room. Still, we could not shower, the water was ice cold, outside being around 5-6 degrees C. We got a recomandation for a Cafe, somehow related with Baroca house, that was called: Medieval Cafe, that is a restaurant also. PLEASE, just find something else! Go to Mimoza restaurant, or House On the Rock Cafe, those are top notch.

The pictures are exactly what you get! Stunning room with old structure of an attic, it s very nice. Form entering the house, you fell like you came back in time, as the owner said, around 450 years. I recommend getting the double room or the attic, I saw all the rooms and those are the best. Location is almost at he highest point in the citadel, Near the main square.

It may be a bit problematic if you're carrying heavy luggage because the accomodation is located in a traditional house which has very narrow wooden staircase; you also have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the old house, not to mention that it is very difficult to walk with your luggage on the cobblestoned roads.

Really interesting atmosphere in this historical house.
