I LOVED staying at Casa Bertha. The hosts were very nice, the room was beautiful and so cozy, it’s a perfect location, and it was so cool that it is connected to their antique shop. Everything in their shop is so fun to look at. I would stay here again absolutely!

Also as with almost everywhere else, the quoted rate did not include breakfast as stated by booking.com, but was an extra charge - not expensive at roughly 10 euros, but the principle is annoying. The stated "nearby" parking is stretching the imagination a bit. It's an easy but pretty long up/down hill walk back to the barrier, both arriving and leaving, from/to the pay & display parking - which in season could be difficult, there's not much of it - at 20 Lei, about 4 euros/24 hours.

This is a delightful, quirky guest house in the core of Sighisoara's old town, a bit challenging to get to by car (don't rent a big one) as the streets are narrow, cobbled, with tight turnings. The old town is "World Heritage" and protected from random traffic so you need permission to enter the barrier to drop off luggage, with a 20 min time limit. Breakfast, as with everywhere else we stayed in Transylvania was varied, extensive and high quality but see the negative below. The hosts couldn't be more charming, helpful or better English-speakers with a great sense of humour. We immediately felt at home. They live 'above the shop'; an extensive antique shop where breakfast is served. A thoroughly enjoyable experience which I fully intend to repeat. A great, ancient little place with a huge history the antique dealer host will relate to you.

Gorgeous traditional Transylvanian house with beautiful views and a high standard of decor. Super comfy beds, so tasteful and the owners were the most friendly and helpful we've ever come across. We highly recommend this place. It's perfect.

The pension is located in the heart of Sighisoara, it was exactly what we wanted as a location, and the rooms with special charm and restored furniture were specially chosen. Very clean, the hosts are extremely welcoming people, we felt like home. There is a well-stocked antique shop at the guesthouse. Quality breakfast, served in an atmosphere beyond expectations, accompanied by classical music. Three full, dreamy days!

Carefully and beautifully redecorated house from the early 18th century with a sense of living history. Very calm and secluded although in the middle of the citadel. Combined antiques store and lodging creates a lovely atmosphere!

Everything was perfect.

Super clean, traditional decorations, location was spot on in the citadel. Super quiet at night but lively during the day, great combo! Owners were very friendly, offered us a lot of local info, cake, lemonade, coffee, welcome drinks. Knew a lot about the area as well.

everything was outstanding. The location is perfect the hosts are extraordinary, welcoming and interesting. They made wonderful recommendations and we really enjoyed the Maps and Military museum. The rooms are luxurious and so beautifully decorated and the whole home masterfully restored. Breakfast was delicious and so filling we didn’t need lunch!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Incredible atmosphere and attention to details for everything relating to the accommodation (from décor, to music, to breakfast, to recommendations, to...everything!), the most passionate hosts, incredible antiquities for buying (or to just learn about them) and just a great, great place to recharge the batteries! A charming guesthouse that maintains the atmosphere of the old Transylvania. Very nice, welcoming owner, delicious breakfasts, perfect location in the old town. Clean, spacious and stylish apartment. Downstairs there is also a shop with interesting antiques.

Actually .. there was nothing i didn't like, we even got a ventilator due to hotter than expected weather.

The owners where amazing, friendly and welcoming, giving with unexpected generoucity. The room was as clean as possible, the breakfast was overwhelming!! I would recommend this place with full heart

It did not effect the enjoyment of our stay at all, and it is clearly written in the information about this property, but you do you have to park outside of the town wall and walk back to the hotel. But you can drive to the hotel to unload any luggage.

You have to see it to believe it! If you want an incredible place to stay, this is it. Our host and hostess were wonderful! They made us feel so welcome and had all types of wonderful treats for us. It is amazing what they have done with their property and the care that they took in renovating this place. The room and bathroom are very large. Everything was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was delicious with so many different selections.

Very nicely restored house, integrating the new in the old. Beautifully furnished and good interior design. Great bathroom / bathtub. Very nice hosts. Nice location to visit the city. Good breakfast, served in the antiquities store. You can drop the luggage right at the property and then park outside the city gates (normal for staying in Sighisoara)
