I think it's too pricey for just a wood bungalow, which this property is. Also, i was introduced by the house rules that you have to wear slippers and they don't offer new and clean ones, but used, which is highly unacceptable. Also, pay attention that it is stated that you can pay by card at the property, which in reality is not the case. This is something I always pay attention to and it is clearly stated in the description that you can pay by card on the spot. Also, unacceptable is that the owner doesn't have at least one hairdryer in the house. I didn't feel too comfortable. So, for just sleeping over, with no other options available, plus no full privacy, it is way too expensive. In the end, I have a feeling like I just slept over in a random house where they decided to welcome me.

Rustic interior, the bed was really comfortable and big, the view and the stream accros the house. I saw that many reviews mentioned bathrooms as not being nice, mine was cute, warm. I liked the books being in the room. It was easy to park the car as well. The bathroom was fully equipped with all necessary things, towels are of a good quality and everything is extremely clean.

A little bit cold in the first night, but after discussing with the friendly lady administrating the location, things got improved.

Nice concept, really lots of memories/antique things gathered inside the property, every wall was having a story. The dog of the administrator was a thrill for my daughter.

The phone number provided at booking.com reservation confirmation was different from the actual one, which we found only upon arriving to the property. The room door had no key. The TV was so antique and small we preferred not to use it. The closest restaurant is about 2.4 km away, and getting taxi is tricky, especially without speaking Romanian. No public transportation here either. For those travelling without car, this location should be considered rather remote.

For our purposes, namely to rest and clean ourselves after a long hike in the mountains, this was a perfect location, just a few hundred meters from the Natural Park border. The hostess was very friendly and attentive to our needs. She personally prepared our breakfast, which was generous and sufficient. With an advance note, having dinner here would also be possible. The overall atmosphere is cozy, the interior designed to produce a kind of authentic, at-home feeling. It's a small pension, with only three or four rooms in total. Nearby stream provides relaxing sound background all night long.

This is a charming accomodation with very cute details that give you a glimpse of how traditional romanians live in their homes. It has a modern splash too, but is integrated with a good taste. Host is such a lovely lady that made our staying super comfortable. Thank you for everything!

Everything was great. The only thing to keep in mind is that cards are not accepted, only cash or Revolut (or at least the card reader was down when we were there, not sure).

A cute place with lots of personality and a local vibe. Delicious breakfast available. Bed was comfy for our preferences and the room was very spacious. Loved the sound of the strong stream across the street from the house.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa cu Amintiri. The place is run by people who live and breathe the outdoor alpine life and this is reflected through the spirit of the house. It’s located right near the entrance of the Bucegi national park so it’s very easy to go off the grid for a few days and just switch off from the daily hustle and bustle, which is exactly what we did. The place is decaroated tastefully and has an unique charm. Lots of original artworks, and memorabilia. Our host, Madalina, was very helpful, and made us feel welcome during our stay. The breakfast made from local produce, freshly cooked, was very delicious, and the coffee to match. Yum! We will definitely come again as we were mesmerized by the Bucegi mountain and the location couldn’t be more ideal.

We liked the place very much. Maybe one thing that we would have valued even more is if the place would have had a larger garden/courtyard. However… it did not bother us too much.

We liked the location, being in the far end of Bran, with less traffic; the place is very cosy and welcoming from the entrance in the house; Madalina, the host, was extremely nice and friendly and gave us useful information; the breakfast is quite good and freshly prepared by the host. The location is excellent if you would like to go for hiking, as it very close to the hiking trails. We liked this place quite a lot and we would definitely like to return.

We stayed only one night but this is a place to enjoy for longer. We’ll come back! The host, Madalina is such a pleasant lady, always with a smile on her face and always taking care of her guests. The breakfast is delicious, with many local products. Across the house there is a lovely barbecue place right next to the river. Lots of hiking trails start just a few minutes away from the house.
