There's actually no parking. If you're lucky, you'll find a parking in front of the hotel otherwise, go search. Location is rather away from the center and since the traffic in Bucharest is a disaster, you're more than 30 minutes from the center.

Big room. Clean. Big curtains. Big nice bed. Small but clean bathroom. Reception simple and functional. WiFi functional. Staff friendly and helpful.

Shower handle fell off when operating. The location and exterior appearance is not appealing whatsoever. The staff spoke zero English (but we're in Romania and shouldn't expect it). The hallway and stairwells and floors reeked of cigarette smoke. The 9.1 rating is misleading. ***UPDATED***** - The owner/representative called me (after my review posted) to tell me "I'm a bad man and to return to USA because you are in Romania and should speak Romanian". Do you see in the notes that "I do not expect anyone to speak English because I'm in Romania"!?! This note, is to inform anyone who REQUIRES English that they attendant didn't speak english. My rating wasn't affected by this, but is WAS something falling under "What didn't you like." (where else should it be listed. I have should go back and reduce the staff rating, and overall rating to very low for such an uncalled for telephone call (for something unrelated to the rating, even).

Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was hot. They had some shower gel packets. The room itself seemed smoke-free (didn't smell like anyone had smoked there before)

We needed to stay a couple of hours more because of my illness and unfortunately we were charged a whole day and not the equivalent. The day after the same thing happened with my wife in Sighisoara and nothing extra was charged. We would appreciate a return of some money. Update on 24/08/2022: unfortunately although we were asked to provide a bank account to be refunded, we never saw any money returned. And we were very disappointed with the comments made because the only thing we mentioned was the issue of charging a whole day instead of a couple of hours. Overall, we were very satisfied with the owner, the cleaning lady, and we never got a comment about our kids being loud. They were absent most of the time. Last but not least, the comment about speaking English was jaw dropping since my wife teaches at an American University, obviously in English... You can reach your own conclusion Last Update on 29/8 and we rest our case with you: 1. Who is the liar, sir? Us who tried to be polite so that we get the money, or you who asked for our bank account and never returned a single euro???? 2. Who has English language speaking issues?? Please consult a dictionary to find out what jaw dropping is. Definitely we have no jaw problems... 3. Your customer management skills are unacceptable. We will provide this conversation to the faculty teaching management to use it as a case study to avoid!! 4. We will consult Booking to find out if you really got permission to post publicly a personal message. 5. You sir started this verbal fight. We kindly asked for return of some money since you charged us for a whole day instead of two hours. You started this by insulting us for language speaking issues and about noisy kids. God bless you!
