Literally everything, it’s an exquisite renovated boutique in the middle of Braila. We stayed only one night but got to enjoy the cosy athmosphere, super friendly staff, tasteful decorations and modern sauna with the relaxation room. It was a very very pleasant surprise, congratulations to the owners and staff!

Everything exceeded my expectations. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. We had no issues with any internal/external noise. Also the facility location is great, just near the main square and the Danube promenade.

Cosy smaller Hotel that was previously a Villa, and well maintained. Right in the heart of the city center. Free parking lots in front of the entrance. Short walking distance to Restaurants, attractions and the Donau river.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Breakfast was great. They cooked omletes on site with no extra charge. The hotel was very well decorated, loved the main staircase.

Breakfast was very good and it was home made with an explanation on how it was made and very kind attention from the people there. The rooms have enough space. I enjoy having sunlight in my room and the position of my bedroom was great for this. The building itsefl has a lot of presence and the interior design is very nice.

Perhaps some more surfaces on which to put objects would have helped a bit. Definitely a more minimalist (but tastefully done) approach.

Missing some deposit spaces both in the bathroom and arround the beds (bed/night table)

I can heartily recommend Casa Popeea Boutique hotel, for anyone visiting Braila for tourism or business purposes. The recently restored neo-baroque building, with an extremely modern interior, impresses even before you get too close to the hotel. The hotel is of exceptional quality. We also chose the place because it offers wellness services. The hotel staff is extraordinarily friendly and attentive to the smallest details. I also recommend the wellness services - the breakfast is exceptional, with products from local producers, particularly fresh.

Minimalistic furniture. Missed a shelve/a chair/hangers in the bathroom to store my cosmetics and hung my clothes. Missed a chair in the balcony to enjoy the fresh air.

Excellent location, very close to the center and to the Danube river. Very nice personnel, ready to provide any kind of information we needed. Maria Filotti theatre is 3 minutes walk away. Nice restaurants nearby.

Although kind and polite, the staff seams to lack flexibility and unable to spot any opportunity. While they have been told that with a little effort they could get a huge impact, sufficiency seamed to prevail.

Wonderful boutique hotel, in the best location. Lovely design of the apartments. Very good breakfast, with a few products sourced locally. Speciality coffee, from Origo, is a huge bonus. Usually, even in best hotels or paid extra, the coffee is not good at all. Also, to be noted the library with the books to enjoy during your stay.

There was nothing I would need to improve about this hotel.

The staff here are amazing!! I’ve been spending the last 5 months traveling around Europe for work. I’ve stayed in many hotels and this staff was by far the best staff I’ve worked with in all my travels. The whole facility is newly remodeled. The bathrooms are amazing, the beds and bedding are super comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are enjoyable to work with and so accommodating. Anyone looking for a hotel in Bralia should stay here.

The building is a superb restoration, very pleasant to stay inside. Balcony and terrace offer outdoor sitting.
