A really good hotel, close to the Northern Railway Station, and with a good pub downstairs.

The staff was receptive, and the room was really great. High ceilings, large rooms, and large beds. We will definitely come back, especially if we travel by train – the location is close to the Northern Railway Station, but outside the Station area.

It might be noisy since the hotel is located on one of the main streets. I liked it, but if you need total silence to sleep, better to ask inner room

The room looks exactly as on the pictures, very clean and stylish. Close to train station (5 min walk).

Exceptionally clean hotel. The room was comfortable, with a nice shower and big bed. Close to the train station but away from the dirt and grime. Nice restaurant in the hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Don't waste your money on other high end hotels. This place is a gem.

The hotel’s location is perfect, in 5min walk from railway station. The personnel at reception were friendly, we communicated in English. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom is the best! The windows are of good quality, we could sleep without disturbances from the main street. We had dinner at a pub downstairs, which is nice and popular, but not for children maybe. We wanted to print out our plane tickets in the morning, the personell helped us without hesitation.

Great hotel!!! i used to visit pub Grivita, that is located downstairs and did not know there is the hotel! and it was really really amazing! I was travelling with my friend to Bulgaria, passing Bucharest, and stayed before in another hotel for one night, that had lots of positive feedbacks, but in fact we had bad experience, so when we were going back home to Ukraine, we decided to stay here, in Grivita! absolutely everything was great - the room - big, clean, fashioned, staff - helped with any kind of questions, the pub downstairs - this is my third or fourth time when i visited it! Delicious food, big portions) the only one thing - i do not know if it for all clients or only for tourists - in the pub, the staff included extra payment to the bill, kind of tips, 15% (just curious , what if i could pay only 10%....) but in general it was good)

Bring your own kettle for tea making. The hotel is very good value, but as with Grand Hotel staff everywhere. They become infected with grandeur themselves and forget that charm is important.

I was somewhat overwhelmed by this Swiss owned hotel. It really was the Grand Hotel in miniature . I had an enormous three-roomed suite with an opulent sitting room, bathroom and bedroom.

Despite great soundproofing you could feel the trams passing by. Also the aircon can get a bit noisy.

The location was excellent given we flew into Bucharest and trained in from airport. Trams, buses and metro were within easy accessibility. From the welcome, to the hosting, to the room being serviced, to the departure - the staff were just amazing. The breakfast was stunning, as was our server. The Burgers & Beers restaurant attached to the hotel - brilliant service, food and interaction. We loved this place that we extended our stay for an additional night.

the staff at the restaurant were not very friendly and did not speak any other language than Romanian! the price is reasonable, but I had to pay for the drinking water, I guess for that price, it would've been nicer if they were complimentary

The Location is Good, Near the Central train station with lots of restaurants around, but that, unfortunately, makes it a bit noisy, I had a corner room and the size was enormous :)

From the room, I was able to hear the subway (which is 50m from the hotel). Good for location, but not so good for a silent room as I requested.

The location is good if you know what you want. It is 300m from the main railway station in Romania (Gara de Nord). Also, from the station, there is a very convenient train to the airport (21 minutes), better than taking a taxi - you can buy the ticket on the train - 5 lei - around $1. The subway station is 50 m from the hotel, and the subway is, by far, the most convenient way to move around in Bucharest (especially if the weather is hot - July & August, or cold - winter, or raining). The hotel is decent, in an older building, with a restaurant (pub and grill) downstairs. Also, 60 m nearby is a 24-hour convenience store. This is convenient, as there are not a lot of restaurants or shops around.

    The pillow were soft.

The room was very clean and spacious. Glad we had a good AC and not noisy at all. We were lucky having the room facing an interior court so we didn't hear the street noise. Definitely I will stay in this hotel again, if I happen to go to Bucharest ( a plus is the proximity to the Gara de Nord)
