During night the central heating stopped and got very cold down to 15,6⁰ C! Had to call the contact person and ask for heat to be turned on. Radiators started heating up in about 30 minutes. The balcony's door gasket wasn't tight enough and some cold was seeping in. Old furniture and some stains on the carpets a d furniture.

The beautiful winter woodland & mountain view, extreme quietness, being the last in the forest, the river and trout fishery. The balcony is very nice to have, big parking lot and restaurant. Got very very hot water and enough amenities. Room Was above average clean, while sheets were very clean. Comfortable armchairs. Very helpful personnel, yet not warm in the morning.

Bathroom was outdated and could use some improvement but everything was functional. The lack of shower curtain ended up with wet floor. Windows do not have bug screens and there are alot of flying insects outside. Our room had a back of the building view of trash cans, but at least they didnt smell bad.

The food is delicious, we tried all trout entries from the menu and everything was above expectafions. Room temperature was cool overnight and day during our summer stay. Beds were comfortable with clean sheets and warm covers and quality pillows.

Little things like the light bulb in the bathroom was flickering, room 15. I was keep forgetting to report that little inconvenience because of the beauty of the place filling all my senses.

Friendly stuff embracing their guests like family members. Scenic location at the skirts of Făgăraş Mountains with fresh clean air, bird chirping and water falling background noise. Recommended the trout dishes prepared from their fish farm.

The bathroom is very very old/not renovated at all. Also the furniture in the room is old. But for that money we didn't expect much.

That's perfect place to relax, green area all around. Clean beds sheets and towels. The restaurant has very tasty food for a decent price, with fresh fish menu as well. I would come back for sure.

The bathroom in our budget room had a very blinding white light and it needed a revamp. The toilet was unstable.

Fantastic location and very accommodating, friendly staff. Brilliant place for taking your dog. Food was good and inexpensive. The beds were very very comfortable.

We would liked to have an introduction tour (e.g. when does breakfast/dinner start?, Where is the laundry room?). We sent the manager an email and received a reply within one hour, so that was also fine. Regarding the restaurant, not all the staff were speaking english but they tried to do their best. Aditionally, after hiking the entire day, the portions that were served for dinner were too small.

The manager picked us up from the station (UCEA) otherwise you can't get there with public transport. The location is perfect for hiking trips! The manager recommended us a few paths. You can spend at least one week there and you would haven't seen everything. The breakfast was really tasty, which you can order from the menu. In case you like fish, they have two lakes with fresh fish and the staff is happy to tell you everything about it.

Great value for money compared to the last place I stayed while in Sambata de Sus. Staff is nice, fish very fresh and tasty. Really close to the starting point of the Fereastra Sambetei track. Highly recommed.

Room was gear size but limited in plugs to charge things. Limited tv channels. Bathroom a little dated in need of an upgrade. I walked there but it’s remote up a forest track last bit which might not suit all vehicles

As l was walking into mountains the location as the last hotel with only trees around was perfect for me. Lovely local trout dinner and great welcoming staff/owners. Room had a lovely little balcony

The rooms are dated, hence some things (like the bathtoom) don't look the clenest - however the sbeets and towels looked clean). Hotel needs a renovation. A thing to consider: the road from Sambata resort to the villa is a little broken and there si no asphalt - you cand go with normal car if it isn't very low, though.
