I've spent there a week and haven't seen the person at the reception desk or anyone else working there. I did not need anything, but I imagine if I did, would have been hard to get it. Lucky, I guess

No soap and shampoo bottles, and floor of the toilet a bit difficult to dry, I couldn't find light key close to bed

The location was very good. Free parking is also a great advantage. Very clean rooms. We will definitely book it again when we are in Oradea once more time :-)

The doors and windows of the room, as well as the furniture, were quite old, which is understandable for an older property. A future upgrade of this aspect would make this guesthouse a really luxurious one.

The minimal contact with staff was good for me. Clear and prompt communication eased the access to the guesthouse even at the late hour when I arrived. Access to the espresso machine and the excellent coffee (Illy!!!) as well as tea available (Evolet Selection) provided a good beginning to the day.

Noisy doors, thin walls (you can hear everything outside the room), uncomfortable pillows (at least for us).

Good location, close to the town center but on a quiet street. Free private parking in a private yard, free coffee, nice building. Responsive host (we have never meet but the communication via messages was very good), cheap minibar

All of these are personal preferences, but I have to share in case someone relates. The queen-sized bed seemed to have 2 single-person mattresses, one of them being tilted towards the center, so my partner slept really badly. I also found the pillows uncomfortable (thin & a bit clumpy) :( The windows have an arched top which is cannot be covered, so there's a lot of light coming in very early in the morning. There also aren't any insect screens at the windows, so you might end up with a few bugs or spiders if you keep them open.

The hotel is beautiful, it has a terrace at the ground floor, a balcony at the 2nd floor where you can stay and enjoy a drink after a long day in the city, it has a large parking and it is very close to the city center (12 minute walk to the pedestrian area). You have coffee and tea in the dining room downstairs and there is also a small kitchenette next to it. The room has everything you need: a mini-fridge, a large TV, table & 2 chairs, wardrobe, plus the bathroom has the best shower ever (high pressure, extremely hot, well drained).

I like staying at hotels to have some services that usually an airbnb doesn't provide, like talking with the staff so they can provide tips or recommendations. But I never saw anybody that I can ask questions. When I arrived I never had instructions for check in so I had to make a phone call. Good thing is I have local calls. A woman came to give me the key but she seemed in a bit of a hurry. The next day I wanted to leave my luggage for a couple of hours before my train departed, and I never saw anybody to ask where I could put my things. So I just placed them in an area that seemed like the kitchen but I wasn't sure if it was the right place. I also left my key in the front desk. So it was like a self check out. I felt a little bit forgotten as a guest. Wifi didn't worry very well in room 14 but I could survive without wifi for a night. Besides that little details everything was great.

The place is very nice, my room was huge and comfortable (room 14/Studio). The terrace is nice and the dining area also very charming. Loved the coffee machine and the variety of teas and personal teapots. Convenient mini bar with reasonable prices. Easy walk to the center (about 15 mins). Overall a very good stay and value for the money paid.
