at the second floor the windows are made from wood and don't close very well so you will hear noises from outside if there are people talking outside or when the cars pass by. the bed was not a one piece but instead there were 2 small beds joined togheter so when you sleep you always end up in the middle where a lower portion is created where the beds are joined.

very good location near the center(15 min walk), there is a store nearby(5 min walk) if you want to buy things, also there is a vending machine at the entrance with snacks if you are in a hurry. the room was clean, the area is quiet and the parking is a big plus. the air conditioning helps a lot if you stay at the second floor. very good communication. the place is of high value for 2 3 night stays.

I've spent there a week and haven't seen the person at the reception desk or anyone else working there. I did not need anything, but I imagine if I did, would have been hard to get it. Lucky, I guess

The doors and windows of the room, as well as the furniture, were quite old, which is understandable for an older property. A future upgrade of this aspect would make this guesthouse a really luxurious one.

The minimal contact with staff was good for me. Clear and prompt communication eased the access to the guesthouse even at the late hour when I arrived. Access to the espresso machine and the excellent coffee (Illy!!!) as well as tea available (Evolet Selection) provided a good beginning to the day.

All of these are personal preferences, but I have to share in case someone relates. The queen-sized bed seemed to have 2 single-person mattresses, one of them being tilted towards the center, so my partner slept really badly. I also found the pillows uncomfortable (thin & a bit clumpy) :( The windows have an arched top which is cannot be covered, so there's a lot of light coming in very early in the morning. There also aren't any insect screens at the windows, so you might end up with a few bugs or spiders if you keep them open.

The hotel is beautiful, it has a terrace at the ground floor, a balcony at the 2nd floor where you can stay and enjoy a drink after a long day in the city, it has a large parking and it is very close to the city center (12 minute walk to the pedestrian area). You have coffee and tea in the dining room downstairs and there is also a small kitchenette next to it. The room has everything you need: a mini-fridge, a large TV, table & 2 chairs, wardrobe, plus the bathroom has the best shower ever (high pressure, extremely hot, well drained).
