Low water pressure in the shower Smelly duvet, but luckily replaced when addressed the issue... Noise until 2am from outside, but the isolation is pretty good! The private beach of the hotel was very far from the water - ca. 2 minutes walk. Very thick and high pillows!

Poor internet connection everywhere, room or terrace. Could barely use it. Everything from the mini bar was under cost not even a water complementary.

Really spacious rooms, he had a double room with lateral sea view. I loved the book shelves in the room! They also provided free toiletries, slippers and bathrobes. Very nice for couples! The only thing was the mattress - a little too soft for 2 adulta. The breakfast was delicious. I am vegetarian and I had plenty of options to choose from. Their lime infused water was extraordinary! The coffees specialities they had at the bar also. And the staff was exceptional, they helped me with a home-made birthday cake made by the cook. Plus always smiling, caring, ready to help you, greeting you all the time.

We booked the apartment, we had a small kitchen but empty. No bottle opener for the mini bar, no glasses, no plates, no spoons, no napkins, all the drawers were empty. Useless kitchen! Broken furniture in the kitchen, broke soap dispenser in the bathroom, one broken floor tile(you can pick it up with your hand). We used Netflix with our account but after a while the remote controller stoped working so We guessed the batteries were dead and We changed them with 2 other pairs. Still nothing after that, so after 10-15min We unpluged the tv from the socket and put it back and was functional. Its about small details who make the difference and thats why Airbnb properties earn more Marketplace, because they offer you everything you need. The breakfast was poor for a 4 stars hotel (I have seen better), and they dont have enough tables to serve breakfast thats Why so many clients had to go for a walk and come back after.

I was promised a room without the cable car cables running alongside my balcony, hotel failed to deliver. I couldn’t take clear photos from my balcony. I was promised coffee making equipment but hotel failed to deliver again. Coffee filter machine provided with cups but no kettle to boil the water, no spoons, no milk, no coffee, no filters……I had to request this at reception. There was no crockery provided should I have chosen to eat in the room. I was disappointed with the room cleaners because they never took our empty glasses and only emptied our bin once !! They did come in to bring toilet roll and fresh towels but walked past our rubbish, didn’t understand their actions !!

Breakfast good as were all the meals provided by their restaurant. Good location but Mamaia virtually all closed for the winter.

Shared balcony, we saw our neghbours all the time even from our bed, gondola was passing all the time and people was looking at us in the balcony, in the room.. no intimacy at all only with the curtains pulled; in the evening noise till 2 am

Difficult to enter with big suitcase, very steep stairs. Don't think you can enter with baby stroller or wheelchair. We had a room at 3th floor, 307, 308, 309 are all under the restaurant, no sound proof at all, none. At 8 when the staff started to work, we woke up because of the terrible noise of chairs on the floor and you can hear everything. The beds weren't confortable at all. Every time we left the room, take out the card key with us, the fridge stopped working, no cold drinks.

Easy to find parking space. Fast elevator. Nice person at reception. Big room, big shower. Good air conditioning. Nice breakfast. Extremely well placed, from beach, restaurant, shops, point of view.

The breakfast was good, we like it, but the problem was with lunch and dinner. We had to wait more than an hour for our food to be ready, so having a hungry toddler and having to wait so much, it was difficult. In additon to this, we had our room at first floor, we couldn’t sleep at all, because of that loud noise. I don’T recommend this hotel!

Evening meal on the rooftop was good. Romanian food, good portions and service spoiled only by the familiar sounds of a yapping dog that could not be controlled by the male once the female left with a baby only to be silenced once the female returned without the baby to carry on drinking. This made our skin crawl and we were glad to be checking out the next morning as soon as the yapping dog in the next room woke us. Internet is non existent unless you are near the centre of the building Bed is not comfortable and the false wooden surrounding hiding the cheap metal legs is an insult to 4 stars The lack of unusable furniture means you have to use patio furniture inside just to use a chair Bad smell from the bathroom drain disguised by placing the bin on top 2 stars maximum from me I’m afraid

Breakfast buffet was over salted. Rubber fried eggs. Sea view balcony ok if you want to exhibit yourself to the main walkway and cable car. Complete lack of soundproofing allowed us to hear everything in the hotel from the maids dragging furniture around upstairs to Staff failing to notice (or act on) a distressed dog yapping and scratching at the door of the next room for over an hour (and still yapping throughout the night and day during our stay!). This was easily heard in reception. The bar conveniently played a varied selection of loud music to drown out the yapping to the public (and our room) rather than address the problem of animal neglect (there was nobody on reception to report the distressed dog to when I became concerned for welfare of the animal). Aggressive sounds also coming from the room next door. Is it the hotel that’s responsible for the behaviour of guests? If they are disturbing other guests, then YES! We have never experienced thing this bad in my 40 years of visiting Romania. Shame on you Hotel GES. You should have acted
