Beautiful and quiet location, across the river from the more crowded Crisan village. Nice, big, clean rooms with a great view. Pictures don't do it justice. Above all, very friendly and always helpful hosts, with a passion for the Delta. Special thanks to Mihai and Delia!

Bathroom wasnt properly cleaned upon our arrival but it was quickly cleaned once we asked - it looked like a mistake, in general the place is nice and clean

We found it to be an excellent location to spend a few days in the Danube Delta. The rooms are clean and cozy, we liked the garden with the hammocks and the pool and having dinner overlooking the nice little canal. The people running the resort are also very warm and welcoming, we will definitely return.

One downside is that you need to be organised to get to and away from the hotel - but it is easy to catch a water taxi if necessary. Also, make sure to communicate your preferences to the staff concerning food, they are very helpful and flexible.

We really enjoyed our two days here. The hotel is really beautiful and the location is great. An excellent place to relax in the delta, as there is ample space in the garden and a great pool. We also took a whole day tour through the delta, and we were very lucky that a new guide had just started who had amazing knowledge of the birds in the area. Without the guide the stay wouldn't have been nearly as rewarding.

Staff were really nice, helpful and accommodating. We had a couple of trips around the Delta, extremely professionally conducted by someone who cares about the ecology of the area and wasn't just interested in zooming around for the sake of a cheap thrill. Seeing the fauna and bird life at ease was the highlight of our trip. The rooms are very high spec, comfortable and trendy and the staff are really trying to please - the manager was super helpful and made us feel part of the family. A special mention to the wonderful 'hotel dog' - gorgeous creature who obviously has a wonderful life (although he's staying outside and guarding the place). Be mindful that you need to take the boat here - do talk to the manager, he's one of the friendliest people we've ever met, and he can arrange that for you, whilst also planning activities in the Delta. Bring Mosquito spray, they are hungry (although the evenings watching the boats go by and red moons are worth the pain, in case you are not prepared).

The ornithologist guided trip was rather weak and felt like we didn't get a lot of the information back. Also the AC units in the rooms started whenever they pleased and couldn't actually be turned off, but this was a temporary problem because of the change in administration at the time of our visit.

Separated from the noise of the village, across the Danube, on a small patch of land, giving full privacy. Transfer to and from the village was free and easy whenever we wanted. Relaxing area was relaxing, night-time is a delight with all the intimate lighting and the food was good, even for non fish or vegetarian lovers. Boat trips in the Delta were organized with their own ships and the cost was decent. Alex, part of the staff, should get a raise since he is almost half of the experience, there.

There were a few points that led to inconveniences mainly due to miscommunication The trip to Letea forest- we were a group of six and we specifically asked for a separate group excursion, when we arrived to Letea we were loaded in a car with more than 20 people and although we arrived at 10:30, we had to wait for more than an hour until the safari car arrived which is basically a truck with improvised seats, no safety measures. Our group decided to drop the trip as it was not what we have asked for. We relied on our host to organize the trip and it seemed that they really do not know the real life situation and this is not an excuse for sending your tourists out there hoping they do not object. Our opinion is that the host knew about the status but expected us not to complain about it and just go with the crowd. And the chain of miscommunication and lies continued, upon our departure we asked for a transfer boat for 10:00 as we had in the group two pregnant women and we wanted to get as early as possible home. We were assured that we will be transferred with the property’s boat although we asked for a reservation to the local boat carrier. At 10:00 all six of us were ready to depart with all our luggages and we were told that we had to wait for another 3 guests So we waited for another hour or more and you can imagine the frustration when we saw they were in no hurry. When I have asked our host why our boat is not leaving she replied that she had informed the other guests that the departure time was 10:00 and there was nothing that she could do more. Finally after one and a half hour we left, tired and frustrated and when we asked the other guests why they were late, they told us that the host told them another departure hour …. One hour later….So even more lies just from the desire to earn money. A fair way of doing things would have been to communicate equally with all guests. Why would you lie to your guests hoping they will not find out the real situation?

The property has good facilities, we were pleased by the view and lovely garden. Even if the overall stay was pleasant, food was not great. They were flexible about the menu, but please be aware there are not many options and that you have to settle with a preset daily menu. Staff was nice or tried to their best but it was not a trained staff and there were big communication issues.
