Nothing to truly complain about to be honest, the jacuzzi loses temperature if it’s cold outside but it can be easily enjoyed for 2-3 hours even in 10 degrees temperature outside

From the location to the accommodation itself, every aspect of our stay was simply outstanding. The location is amazing, situated near the lake and surrounded by the forest. It features a terrace and a jacuzzi, which were perfect. The inside of the house is very beautifully organized and decorated. Also, the breakfast served was really good. It’s actually one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. Highly recommended!

The night peace and sleep disturbed by a dog that kept barking, not sure if it was the dog of the property or the dog of a customer. There is no phone coverage on Orange :(

Nice place, where you can enjoy the view and relax. We stayed in one of the tents that have full view over the lake. Very nice and helpfull staff and owner.

The location was amazing, beautifully integrated with the nature. You have all facilities but feel like living in the nature. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The WiFi works really well. Even there is no phone signal for some operators, we enabled Wifi Calling and it worked without any issues. The breakfast was amazing, served in the most beautiful landscape. You can order food from a nearby restaurant, at very decent prices.

It’s hard to find something without losing too much thinking, maybe I’m finding the dishwasher a plus which is not necessary.

It’s an unique place, with beautiful landscapes and the atmosphere which is created by the forest, sounds of the leaves, lights and the house is beyond and above the expectations. All you see in the presentation pictures is real, you can enjoy your time or family time in a lot of ways. You can enjoy kayaking on the lake, swimming in the pool, relaxing on sauna, etc. The hosts are nice people, trying their best to make you feel the real purpose of the house: relaxing in the wildness of the forest. The breakfast is also wow, made only with the best products on the market, homemade touches and more than you need. It is an experience which you need to try more than once. I highly recommend the property.

The ONLY challenge, is the rooms are far from where you park so because we had 2 huge suitcases, carrying them to our room was a workout😅

- ants (which is a necessity in nature, but maybe there is a natural way to keep them off the villa) - some furniture needs a touch (and it is over-furnished for such a tiny space in my opinion) - dog shelter behind the villa, which is totally ok, but still unusual, so i thought it needs to be mentioned in case someone has an issue with dogs

everything! it is even better than on the photos! the nature, the real home away from home, the dog who lives there and acts as if he is yours, the home-made food... the perfect hosts, wonderful hospitality! we spent there 3 days and it felt like some heavenly 2-week-long holiday.

the only thing that can be improved is the electricity UPS, which is a bit too noisy during the night - this can be a problem only if someone sleeps in the livingroom. anyways, we were warned about it, beforehand, by the lady taking care of the house.

the house is great, the suroundings amazing, great lake view . there is a jacuzzi on the terrace , a nice bbq/fireplace, everything you need is there. we enjoyed the nature and the lake and a nice breakfast in the morning. we will definetely return to the Lake House.

Infinity pool was too cold to use during our stay, but the heated jacuzzi on the porch was a good alternative.

Fantastic location and gorgeous view of the lake. Great choice of spots to lounge & chill on the property, all fully equipped & decorated with good taste and a “homey” feel. Last but not least, Adina the housekeeper is incredible: extremely helpful, always smiling & discreet when tending to the property.

The property is in a quiet area, a forest near the Paltinum lake.

It was clean and comfortable. The staff, a lady was very nice and friendly.

There were quite a few small issues that could be ignored if it wasn't for the high price point. The cabin needs some renovations and a proper grill would be more than welcome. The access road to the parking spots inside the property was a really bad experience for us because it's covered with stones and we had a lot of trouble getting out of the property. We had to leave the car in the street for half of the trip.

Location is truly great. Most of the time it's quiet and peaceful. Sundays are bad days from this point of view because there's people camping in the immediate vicinity of the property and usually being noisy (not sure about Saturdays).

We really felt cozy, but if I were to mention anything I would say it is a bit too much furniture in the living for a small room. One sofa and an armchair would be enough. One should consider the property is pricey for Romanian market, but we got a promise of discount for next visits. ;) The owners are trying to offer all comfort (even Netflix access and temperature settings for each room). There is also a pool, which quite frankly we did not even notice but considering the weather (pretty rainy this year) was a bit cold so we did not use it. Jacuzzi could be bigger and easier to access. Also a lot of equipment in the kitchen. One can settle with a lot less.

This tiny 1 bedroom + living&kitchen holiday spot is located in the middle of a young forest, few meters away from Paltinu Lake. It was super nice to relax here for 2 days, the house is spotless clean and offers absolutely everything one can need. Adina is taking care of everything, even ordering food from the village or breakfast every morning at any desired time. One should though really love nature and enjoy being close to animals: there is a huge dog pen behind the house, fenced with about 11 lovely rescued dogs (honorable gesture considering the amount of stray dogs you see everywhere in Romania 😔). We saw even few foxes around the house. It felt quite unique to ‘be’ part of a natural habitat. There is also Bobitza, the kindest dog ever walking free around the property. He might come and go but don’t worry he is very nice to be around, guarding or playing. 😉
