The remote location is perfect for a weekend getaway outside of the skiing season. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The immense breakfast was a perfect start to the day, while taking in the views of the valley from the restaurant window. A lovely hotel.

We had everything we needed in the room. It was a pleasant stay even if we couldn't ski. The spa was a good alternative. Also, it was great that we could have an early check in and a late check out, at a reasonable price.

The spa was very dirty, the water from the pool had some brown dirt so I could not enter, the jacuzzi had a strong smell of chlorine so you could not stay for more than 10 min. The sauna is very small and only one was working so you had to wait for someone to go out to be able to enter, it looked like a gym sauna not a spa sauna.. Is totally not worth to go there and pay 150 euro for one night thinking that you have the spa included because is not what you imagine.

The rooms were very nice and clean, good food at the restaurant and nice staff.

If you stayed more than 5 minutes in the water at the Spa your eyes started to hurt.

The breakfast was very diverse and good. The hotel is located right next to the ski slope. Very clean and well kept.

The pillows were not soft enough for sleeping on them. Better to have pillows filled with down & feathers. Also a large mirror on the wall in the room would be nice to check your outfit.

Spacious and luxurious room, very cozy and comfortable with floor heating, nice view. The food in the restaurant was delicious and there is a variety of nice dishes on à la carte menu. The breakfast was very rich and with quality food. The pool and spa area was very clean and relaxing. The massage was good and full body as opposed to back only.

The food price was a bit high for the value and the room was not entirely spacious. Also the heating control was very hard to operate. But overall it was ok.

The music playing in the hall was too loud. It played until midnight and started playing again in the morning.

The hotel is modern, beautiful, but in such a location I would expect something more suitable for the area. Breakfast quite poor, I would have expected it to have local products (jams, cheese, sausages,...), the food ordered at the restaurant a bit salty, I waited a long time after ordering, the order was wrong, the water in the pool very cold, impossible to swim.

It was an amazing experience. From the hotel-spa to the restaurant and area. We recommend it to anyone wanting a true mountain escape. The food was amazing. The hotel smelled so nice and everything was super clean and looked after. The only little problem was the pillows-not comfortable at all for us. The rest was super super amazing! Just one minute walk there is an ATV and Buggy rentals that give you a tour of the local areas. We chose to go to Poiana Mărului and it was such an amazing experience. Therefore, the area of this hotel was wonderful. Thank you Montis Hotel Staff for making our stay even more wonderful! ❤️
