Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaThe room needs a wardrobe or at least a rack for pants or other things. Cleaning should be done daily....(I told the cleaning lady that I don't need new towels....but she didn't even open the door of my room... at least to empty my trash or for cleaning the bathroom.
It's a small hotel (9 rooms); it is new with a minimalist modern design. Located on the southeast ring-road of Oradea, the hotel is recommended for the people in transit, but it is well positioned (both for quick access to Felix and to the city center also; a big food shop is at a few steps distance). There is no reception personel. Continental breakfast is all what you get; in fact is limited to a sandwich, a yogurt, some biscuits, fruit; but coffee and tea at your discretion and at any time. The building access is on a 6 digits code received via e-mail or by SMS. With the same code access you may enter both, the hotel and your room. The bed was high and extremely comfortable, but the room simply furnished; actually you find a TV, a desk with an empty frige and a shelf (at least some hooks to hang your trousers would have been useful). Any way, the hotel is good and I recommend it.

United StatesAdy was the best; comfort of room and the hotel location to all travel in Oradea was excellent from this location. The lobby has all kinds of coffee, espreso, etc, fruit, cookies for guests. In the morning Ady has sandwiches brought in from a local bakery ham/cheese and they were excellent. Great way to start the morning.
Ady was extremely helpful during my stay, I was not feeling well on my first day and he checked on me, make sure I had food and drinks. Throughout my stay he would always come by and see if anything was needed. Great guy to work with and he will be your main contact during your stay. Room was great, king size bed very comfortable and pillows were comfortable, fridge in room, and temperature control was great. I will be staying here again on next trip

RomaniaThe insulation between rooms could be improved.
The hotel is exceptionally well designed, with automatised check-in & check-out procedures. The rooms are large enough, the bathroom is spotless, the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is extremely basic yet ... it exists. Coffee/tea/water are available throughout the day and night. Parking (free) right in front of the hotel.

RomaniaThe touch buttons on the doors are small, a little bit difficult to push them if do you have thick fingers :) But I think you can do this effort for the food price and comfortable stay...
It's a perfect place if you need a pleasant, comfortable sleep. Close to "highway" it's a high advantage if you don't want to get stacked in the traffic of the city. The sound insulation is perfect too, don't worry about the traffic's noise, inside the building can not be heard. The building is new, rooms are in perfevt condition, clean. The boy who welcome you at the reception is very friendly and does all the bests for your comfortable stay, a big like for him!

RomaniaThe hotel location is very far from the city, next to the motorway, which might be a bit too noisy during the night. The breakfast was very poor - only milk, yogurt, cereala and croissant and some basic fruits (milk we served was not fresh, had to ask staff for a fresh bottle).
The room was very spacious, modern and clean.

RomaniaNo complaints about the hotel, the only issue some might find is the location. The hotel is right by the city belt which was a little inconvenient if you want to relax outside.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, very modern and very well insulated against noise considering it's right by the city belt. The staff was very kind and helpful.

GermanyQuite pricey for the position and amenities. Breakfast is spartan. Overall, if you are willing to accept the self-care principle of this premise (quite rare in Romania, actually), you will probably enjoy the carefree staying there. For those more dependent on hotel staff and on humans in general :-), look elsewhere.
If you're in transit or arriving late in Oradea, this is a great location away from the busy city center to avoid congestion in the morning. It's directly on the city ring road but fairly good isolated, so the noise of the traffic in my room was minimal. Pay attention to the designation "rooms" instead of "hotel/motel", which i.m.h.o. refers to the minimal staffing (I've only seen the cleaning lady in the morning) and the do-it-yourself-manner at the premise. It has a self-check-in/-out, so you do not need to rely on a 24-hours-open front desk. The lady in charge I spoke on the phone with was very helpful and checked me in while I was busy driving by motorbike. Parking is free around the building. Entry is PIN-based; the same code grants access to the main door and to one's room. The double room I booked as a single had an industrial-chic design (hence the attribute boutique, I guess) but seemed not as spacious as advertised. Nonetheless, it had pretty much everything a guest in transit could need: a comfortable bed with clean sheets, a small desk, a clean bathroom and all over the place a pleasant fresh smell (for some, perhaps quite intense). The self-served breakfast was pretty simple: there are biscuits, croissants and cereals, milk, yoghurt, some fruits like apples and bananas, tea, coffee and water available in a sort of an open kitchen with bar instead of a hotel reception. So do not expect a rich breakfast but it's ok for uncomplicated travellers on their way. Overall, I would stay there again, even it was pricey (but hey, I reserved just a few hours in advance...).

PolandThe hotel is placed by the main ring road next to a supermarket, so it's perfect for travelers. It has sufficient car park and is very modern. In theory, you can go through the whole booking, check-in, payment and check-out, without encountering any people. When we arrived, there was a super helpful guy from the staff, who helped us with our luggage and all things hotel related. In the morning, he brought fresh pastries, which fitted the very good coffee that the hotel offers. Rooms are well-designed, spacious and basically brand new. They have electronic locks and air-conditioning. Overall, it was a great experience for a very affordable price.
