Smart, functional and clean hotel, well located within 10 minutes' walk of Sibiu's main square and most notable attractions. Good value for money.

AC is not working (reception said it is operational only during summer months) so you need to open the windows to have a comfortable temperature. Problem is since it is near the roads if you open the windows you can hear the noise of vehicles passing by all night which ruin your good sleep.

The staff is quite amateur. Our reservation included a parking space but when we arrived the receptionist told us that there are no more available parking spaces and he promised us they he will solve the issue. At the end he didn't solve anything so we needed to find a spot ourselves, with extra cost. The room was really small, even for two people. The pictures of the rooms are misleading. The mood in a room is very outdated and it felt like we jumped back to the communist era.

The hotel is very close to the center so the location is excellent. The international breakfast was great with good coffee and they also had lactose free milk.

At check-in in the upstairs hall, I came across a small construction site (all kinds of waste, objects, escalators and smells of chemicals) very disturbing even though the works were finished in an hour. Although the room has a TV, it worked with continuous signal interruptions. I reported the problem to the reception and on another occasion we stayed here and nothing was resolved. Practically a service paid for nothing. From the ventilation in the bathroom there was always a disturbing hissing like a storm. At the price of over 100 Euros/day (including parking), we have higher expectations and demands.

The rooms are a little outdated. At some point the WiFi collapsed, but the hotel staff fixed it in a couple of hours.

The location is great, right in the middle of the town and very close to all restaurants and the old city.

Beds are quite hard. There is no coffee maker or an electric kettle in the room.

The furniture seemed old. There were no slippers in the room. One staff was rude, but not a big problem.

The location was very good. The breakfast was delicious and diversified. The room had a lot of outside light.

We were unfortunate to be greeted by a very unfriendly and unprofessional looking young receptionist. Unfortunately I have forgotten his name. Without even looking at us, with a sour face, he started checking us in. I politely asked for a parking space and he very rudely replied that if there was no space, I should leave the car somewhere on the street. This person should not be allowed to work at the front desk, he should work alone and not interact too much with other people. Not everyone is made to be a receptionist. That is why we will not return here too soon.

We just spent a night here as we were in transit! The hotel is well located, quite close to the old part of the city. The rooms are clean and well soundproofed. Breakfast is reasonable for a 3-star hotel, but the coffee is terrible.

The bathroom was not really clean. The quality if food at breakfast could be improved.

The window view from the 8th floor is really nice. We stayed there for hours to admire how it snowed. The bed was comfortable. The room temperature was great.

Parking was not free, however there was very close a paid parking that costs half of the price of the hotel, which is quite odd. Room was clean, however for the 5 nights we stayed, no change of the beds. Also the food needs to be improved, especially the new year dinner, was not good.

Location was great, close to the big square. The rooms were ok, warm and cozy. I also like the staff, nice young and friendly. The hotel is nice and big, it is showing the age though.
