Almost nothing to dislike. But I don’t like that smoking is allowed in the glassed-in dining area, where in cold weather all the glass panels are closed and heaters are turned on. So it’s really an indoor dining area. I guess that’s allowed under Romanian law.

Outstanding breakfast is served until 10:30 AM every day. Can’t have a better breakfast. However, the fried eggs and egg-based pastries should be kept hotter — they were only lukewarm. Room is very clean. The room was decent in size with lots of storage. We have stayed here repeatedly over the last several years. Even with a room facing the main boulevard, the traffic dies down at ~10 PM and it’s very quiet after that point.

Breakfast could have been better (especially the coffee). Also, the joy of having a lake view was shadowed by all the garbage în the lake and the homeless people living on the small island right next to the hotel.

The room reserved for us was just above the children 's playground at the 1st floor and there was a lot of noise until 11-12 Pm. The hotel staff was fast to move us to another room as soon as we talked to them so happy to see such a fast reaction

The sunset panorama to the Siutghiol lake is marvelous! OnPlonge Jr restaurant represents a nice addition, for some it may be more attractive than the hotel itself. Families with kids would be delighted by this place, we always return with pleasure. With some minor adjustments (a bit more comfy mattress, maybe some variations of the breakfast) I think this hotel could get a 5* rating.

Didn’t feel like a 4 stars hotel, more like 3 maybe. There were ants in the bathroom and the toilet seat was dirty. Overall it was ok, but not worth the money when compared to other 4 stars hotels in Romania.

The breakfast was really good and the restaurant had a nice selection of fish. The view of the lake was nice and the room quite big.

The only bad thing was the smell of the entire room. It appeared to come from the bathroom, keeping the bathroom door closed at all times appeared to help a little, but did not fix the isssue, as it was pretty bad.

Room was mostly ok, pretty clean, with AC and a nice view over the lake. Staff was nice and helpful. We ate there for breakfast and everything was ok, you had different options to choose from.

I would have liked that the private parking for the hotel to be free, and not to bother about the parking tax.

The hotel is a very nice one, very clean, huge rooms and great hospitality. I think the breakfast is one of the best features for this hotel. I booked the room in the Easter time and we even had an Easter specific breakfast(very nice). The view in the room is also spectacular.

Waiters probably didn't fully recovered after the New Year's party and they looked a bit grumpy, looking to go home asap, maybe to take some rest - everything felt on fast forward 1 hour before the closing.

To us it feels like a family business hotel equipped with a very nice restaurant that runs all over the year, not only during the summer season. Rooms are big, clean, with a comfy mattress. Food that one may find at the On Plonge Jr. restaurant was always in the very good value and taste range. You can enjoy dinner on the lake shore with a spectacular view of the sun set. Sometimes piano live music gives that perfect vacation vibe. 🥰 A very nice experience that we hope to repeat. Please have in mind that the hotel and the restaurant are very busy during weekends and holidays, so book a room/table well in advance.

Great accommodation with most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Room was very big, very clean and had a spectacular view on the lake. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Hotel was quiet and very pleasant. Would definitely consider staying here again.
