Very modern and beautifully decorated one-bedroom apartment. Georgiana, the host, was really nice: she answered all the calls and waited for me to arrive to provide the key. The location is wonderful, just a short walk away from the Council Square and the historic centre. There is a small kitchenette, well equipped, hidden behind doors, and a coffee machine just beside the entrance. A table, chairs and a small sofa are available outside, exactly as in the pictures. Parking is a great bonus when travelling by car.

The Poarta Ecaterina apartment is by far the best choice if you want to be close to the historical center of Brasov without noise and crowds. Another big plus are the private parking spot and the small terrace right in front of the apartment entrance. We will come back for sure.

Extraordinary! Nothing to complain, spacious flat with everything you need. Smart TV. Very good bathroom. Quiet with private courtyard, but directly in the Center. Private parking with very good accessability with not so much traffic.

Only negative is that the bedroom was small, but who cares when the rest was so wonderful!

The cutest apartment in the cutest town! Six days was not enough! Very clean and looks just like the photos (which is why I am not uploading any of the ones I took). Had amenities like espresso capsules, sugar, salt, pepper. Owner meets you at apartment to let you in. A lockbox would also easily work. Nice big TV - watched Dracula before going to Bran, Less than a 5 minute walk to the main square with restaurants and shops. Bolt to/from train station was less than 10 minutes and ranged from 15 to 35 LEI. Bus is 2 LEI and less than 3 minutes walk - just make sure you buy ticket from kiosk before boarding. Brasov is a good location to go to Pelas Castle by train (1 hour each way) and to Bran Castle by bus from bus station #2 (1 hour each way). Pelas is in Sinaia and Sinaia was really cute - wish I had spent longer there - maybe overnight.

The property is located beside the main square, in a quiet yard. The host is super helpful and responsive. The parking is for free as it is a reserved place (very nice). Highly recommended

The place is spaceous and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Place is located near the center square, so it was easy to get there on foot, whrn se came back from sightseeing castles in bran and peles. Place is in a quiet neighborhood so we could rest after long day. Georgina is a great host willing to help with anything you need.

Nice and roomy flat in a very good location. It had all of the essentials and more. Very clean! The host met us outside the building to help us park and showed us the flat. She was so lovely and helpful. Really really recommend! We are definitely coming back :)

It's not the hosts fault, but the upstairs neighbours were pretty loud and got up pretty early in the morning. Given that the house of the accomodation is pretty vintage, the noise isolations is pretty lacking. Just a heads-up that the noise level could be a turn-off for light sleepers.

The host was really helpful and friendly, the location is just 5 minutes from the city center and having a free parking spot is great, given that the city is pretty crowded and any other spots are 5 euros/day. The rooms were big, the bed and couch were comfy the water pressure for the shower was great. The kitchenette has everything you need for a couple of days and they have an okay coffee machine.

what was promised was delivered. I have nothing to complain about. I'll try to come back. the location is central, very close to the center, in front of a park. it is far enough away from the road, however, that you do not hear the street traffic. You have parking on the street, easy to navigate from anywhere you enter Brasov.

Everything was perfect

Everything! Extremelly clean, new and modern decorated with lots of facilities, toddler friendly, indeed a pleasure staying at Poarta Ecaterina Residence. We even found fresh fruits in the living room, highly apprecieted. Free parking place was a big plus for us and also the cute outdoor space just in front of the apartment. Very friendly host!

The living room couch is not great for sleeping when extended, as the extension is significantly harder than the seating part. Still, you can have a decent rest and this is clearly a matter of personal preferences and others may find it very comfortable.

This apartment checked pretty much all the criteria we had in mind: Very close to the centre, as I was exploring with a toddler and a 2 months old baby; Great Wi-fi, for work; Free parking, as we all know when travelling with small children luggage grows and you do not want to walk half a city with everything from the parking place you find to the apartment; Well equipped kitchenette - not for heavy cooking, but works perfectly for breakfast cereals and some pasta; Generous bathroom, to fit 4 people :). Husband bathing the toddler, me the baby. A huge advantage for families with small babies is the bathroom tabletop on which the sink is placed, as that is very generous and can be easily adapted as changing table; It was also very clean, and not only superficially, but with clear attention to details. Bonus points: lovely small terrace; complimentary coffee; very stilish decorations and well thought furniture. The host was very helpful and kind, check in and check out smooth. I warmly recommend the location.
