We were staying here to attend a wedding nearby, and we are so happy we chose this hotel. Staff so friendly, room beautiful with amazing view from balcony and amazingly clean. Location was perfect for us and breakfast (which was included in the price) was so tasty and fresh. We were trying not to eat too much before the wedding, but the lovely lady who served us recommended we also have a croissant after our eggs, I’m so glad she did - it was beautiful. Setting right on the lake edge is spectacular, I could have sat in the garden or in our balcony for hours. Please stay here, you will be so happy with your choice!

Staff were really amazing so friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem. They were very accommodating to our late and early arrival/departure times. The rooms are super clean with lovely views of the lake and the mattresses are so comfy! Breakfast was a delicious and beyond what I’ve had in most hotels. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Just to note there is a see through shower however I was aware of this before I travelled so wasn’t a problem.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Mamaia, and the two week stay at Poeme Mamaia Retreat could not have been more perfect. We stayed in one of the "Luxury level" rooms which was surprisingly large, had a comfortable king size bed and an enormous shower with undisturbed west-facing view over the lake. Being able to watch the sunset while taking a shower is very romantic, trust me. The room was very clean, and we were free to decide when we wanted the room cleaned which was very nice. The breakfast was very good, and felt fresh every single day. Being a relatively small hotel, we were able to make a personal connection with both the owner and the staff which was very sweet and made us feel more welcome and tended to than we have ever experienced in any hotel before. The service was impeccable. The hotel has a deal with a beach bar so that we got sunbeds for free on weekdays. It is called Argo and is very relaxing with nice drinks. It is a 15 min. walk from Poeme, or 3-4 minutes with Bolt/taxi. We got a romantic dinner with just the two of us on the hotel roof. The food in the restaurant was very good. The chef is skilful, and both the meat, fish and vegetables were of high quality. The owner, Bogdan, is an amazing guy. He was dedicated to make our time in Mamaia as perfect as possible, with great success. He gave us a complementary bottle of wine from a local vineyard. He also took us on a free tour at the vineyard - this was an unforgettable experience! He also offered lots of other activities and excursions during our stay. We feel very lucky that we decided on Poeme Mamaia Retreat for our honeymoon. We could not be happier with our stay. Thank you!

This is a great place to relax! We liked absolutely everything. Lovely and clean rooms, admiration of the shower room, excellent location and very tasty dishes in the restaurant. Separately, I would like to thank all the staff of the hotel. This is one of the most welcoming places! The staff is very polite and pleasant. Service at the highest level. We will definitely come back here again.

Nothing to dislike~

The hotel is excellent. Brand new, sharp clean, and with very advanced access control in room and hotel (there is a code setup for you that you use at the room or at the main hotel entry - so no need to carry about the key card - never seen this before in a hotel in Romania). The hotel is cozy, nicely decorated with attention to the smallest details. The lake view worth al the money from restaurant, room and even form the shower :) The owner made us feel very comfortable during our journey Thank you very much!

Rooms were exceptionally large and comfortable with a very nice shower placement with direct view towards the lake. The furniture looks very nice and modern. On top of all the restaurant is excellent. I would definitely recommend for anyone search for a place to stay in Mamaia/Constanta.
